Barzura

I’d only ever previously been for breakfast... but lunch blew me away. Fantastically varied menu, great service, and a scenic aspect looking out over Coogee Bay. Barzura will become a firm local favourite of mine. Just for the record, had the Chili, salt and pepper squid; olives and tuna tataki for shared starters, lamb shank rendang for mains, and sticky ginger pudding for dessert. Could not fault.

Beautiful spot with ocean views and a big outdoor patio. The brunch is killer and the coffee is great. The corn fritters are delish

A local favourite for the past 15 years. The fantastic view is worth the price. Food is reliably good and I have never had bad service.

Food was amazing, got the nasi goreng and the baked eggs. We had our coffee orders taken straight up which was good and those were great too. Service after that was a little average though (a couple say down after us and ordered some if the same stuff but there's was brought out first etc), but mostly good, definitely recommend

Ordered the lamb rack off the specials menu ($32) as nothing else appealed to me. Waited a considerable length of time before it came out. 2 very small pieces of lamb, maybe only 4 decent mouth fulls altogether. Some pea puree and little bit of salad. Not even tasty and extremely over-priced for what you actually get. Service was okay.

Lovely family & friends lunch and the added bonus of seeing my cousin Airlie. Good food, weather and view.

Very very Ordinary - Unfortunately... such a beautiful location but the food very substandard. We ordered scrambled eggs, with a side of smoked salmon and mushrooms. The smoked salmon had seen better days and had been frozen so we did not touch that one and the mushrooms were cooked in awful oil on a grill not a pan and totally lacked flavour, no butter or olive oil fresh thyme. Bread also so so, we basically left it, we wont be back. I live locally so it hurts to write this review but I need to be honest here. The chef needs to eat out more and see what the competition are doing so he understands, people want and expect good food.

Had a great breakfast, lovely coffee and the omelette with magic mushrooms is worth a go
