Barbell Foods Biltong

I have a standing order with Barbell. Sea salt option is the only biltong where there are no additions added. It’s plain and it is a healthy snack. It’s easy to travel with for a quick eat when blood sugar is low. Great fro those of us doing Carnivore or a higher protein diet. I have an autoimmune condition so the plain no added ingredients option is fabulous. This is a great company and great product. Try it.

This is my second time purchasing from Barbell Foods. The product is absolutely fantastic, best air dried steak I've had. Complimented by great customer service. It's my go to snack when I'm hiking.

Their biltong is on point with freshness and and flavour. The meat sticks (droëwors) is unbelievably tasty and both work a treat for lunch boxes or as a quick on the go snack!

Being a lifetime connoisseur of dried and cured meats, it would take a lot to impress me. The taste and texture matched the looks, with thin slivers of fat and chewy but delicate meat bursting with chili and vinegar flavors without overpowering the meaty umami goodness inside. The only thing stopping me from eating the entire kilo right then and there was the $2.80 Woolworths serrated cake knife in the draw of the office kitchen, the only knife in cooee capable of slicing the steaks in any form. After a week of ever developing RSI in the quest for my morning snack, I invested in a biltong slicer which sits proudly in the office kitchen, an extravagance some think, until they've tasted freshly sliced Barbell Biltong. Now I have a new problem. My first kilo lasted a month but now i can slice a steak in less time than Matt Shervington can run a hundo, I am developing a serious addiction to Barbell Biltong, and am nervously awaiting delivery of a fresh kilo every week. I can only hope that some of my colleagues who share in my spoils will start supporting my habit.

Having tried almost the entire range of Barbell products, you really can't go wrong! Amazing biltong and good meat sticks. My favourites are the Benchmark biltong (steaks or pre-cut), biltong jumbles, and Sichuan meat sticks. Am also a big fan of using regenerative agriculture and the focus on simple, quality ingredients.

I have never been a fan of dried beef of any kind. Barbell biltong changed my mind completely. Perfectly seasoned and with a few fatty bits just make an amazing snack! Great thing to take out on a fishing trip.

The Biltong and the Grass-Fed Beef are the best I've had. Well done guys you can tell you love what you do.

Their jerky is delicious, and a best in class product. Their Meat Sticks (droëwors) are a 6 star product! It was love at first bite. Made from 'real food', quality ingredients and offering great taste as well. I also admire their commitment to sourcing beef from regenerative farming operations right here in Aus!

I love Biltong have tasted a lot of it but I'd have to say Barbell's is amazing to say the least, great work guys, keep it up !!!
