Pad Thai was the highlight and service was good. Mushroom vermicelli was a bit too sweet and the kids chicken and rice was bland. But service was lovely.

Very big and nice place, staff are very friendly. A bit pricy but good nice food, except $15 for corn fritter :( every Thai restaurant i go, first is to try Pad Thai, not disappointed. Not sure why calamari is popular, just 2 different dips. Even the food cost a little more, the bowels are actually huge, should share with 2 at least. Nice presenting dishes too!!

CLASSY MODERN THAI ON THE RIVERSIDE AT SOUTH WHARF Bangpop has a very upbeat vibe with access via the South Wharf shopping complex and also directly from the riverside walk. Modern Thai cuisine with options for everyone. Menu is all app driven (like most restaurants these days) but if you are struggling to read it on your mobile phone, just ask for a paper menu - they keep them on hand :) Call me a luddite, but I still prefer the "old days" when you looked through a physical menu and the waiter took your order.. COVID - you have a lot to answer for! You have a choice of indoor or al fresco but in reality all the zones flow into each other. If it's a sunny day, opt for the outdoor tables on the riverside. The menu is coded for chili spiciness, vegan and vegetarian options. Further "tweaks" to your selection can be made on the ordering app. Serving size is reasonable and the food is well presented. The restaurant ahs a full service bar and you can order tapas-like items if you're mainly there for a drink. People with mobility issues will be fine as its a very modern precinct with all level floors, lifts, escalators and good table spacing.

My partner and I ate here for lunch one weekend and we were totally blown away. The service from the staff was extremely attentive, the food was superb 11/10!!! We both agreed that the food is the most authentic Thai food outside of Thailand. We miss our thai holidays so much at the moment, and this really filled the void. Thank you for a wonderful lunch, the staff and the chefs here are doing a top shelf job.

Been here on two occasions. Both times the food was delicious and the servers were incredibly friendly and helpful. Will be back.

Love this place, for its location but even more for the food. One of my favourite pad Thai . OMG full of flavours, you have to try it! Also great place for kids with an assorted menu and LEGO toys to play with... 👍

Bangpop has a great location: one side faces the DFO shopping centre while the other one faces South Wharf and the city. The staff is really friendly and professional while the menu is now available on your phone to keep everyone safe. They serve modern Thai cuisine with choices for everyone along with an excellent kids menu. The food is always a pleasure and they serve one of the best Pad Thai in the city! Highly recommended. The Thai beef salad is good as well as the green chicken curry.

The bar front made of lego blew my 9 year old away. Great location awesome food and staff......

Took my very fussy eater in-laws here and they were all impressed, told me that I did a good job finding this restaurant that actually makes good food. Will definitely come back again ❤️ Their peanut sauce is the Bomb. If you like spicy try the red duck curry.

Relaxed sunset dinner on the waterfront. Order online from the table. Food came out very fast. Betel leaf was fantastic, bit spicy also very very highly recommend the yellow curry.
