Bakery on O'Connell

I can't believe that I've never been to this food paradise on O'Connell street until last week. I missed out on so much:( Just looking at the pastries and buns displayed made me so satisfied and was drooling the entire time. The bakery is open 24X7 (unsure of public holidays), so ideal place for midnight cravings!

We always make time to come to O'Connell st bakery when ever we come to Adelaide !! It's our favourite food spot with something new to try every time !! Our favourite is always the chicken parmigiana pie. If you are local and want something new they have a pie of the month The staff are always friendly and the food is always fresh !! 10/10 !!

The absolute WORST coffee on the planet!! Variety of pastries are average ... really nothing special. The doughnuts are heavy and "doughy" (almost as though they weren't quite cooked) ... not soft, fluffy and enjoyable. Most things seem highly processed ... ARTIFICIAL ... with a lot'a "filler" in their pies and pasties ... just the cheapest option with the highest profit margin. With nowhere else to go, I imagine the appeal is that it's open 24/7 ...

Gr8 spot for a quick and easy lunch or snack. Busy at times but service is always quick.amd hassle free. Huge ranger of sweets and treats to captivate any sweet tooth... well done

Yummy nutella coffee frappe. Nice food in store bought a take home pie filling was really nice, pastry was okay.

I've been here about half a dozen times now. While the 24hr opening times are indeed convenient, the quality of what you get feels over-rated. I've only tried the sweet items, but have definitely had better-tasting stuff elsewhere around in Adelaide for less $$, and also minus the long queues. Difficult parking, plus I've found the service to be abrupt & unfriendly as someone who isn't young/trendy local/caucasian. Feels almost like I'm trespassing here - non of that welcoming feel you get from a good bakery/cafe.

The service here is always amazing. I accidentally dropped my coffee this morning when exiting and the staff were on top of it right away and had anoyher coffee made for me in no time with no trouble at all. The coffee tasted amazing BTW and the pastry here is always delicious 😋

Great quality food, enjoyable atmosphere, amazing value especially for a place open all day and night. Really delicious coffee too, if that's your thing. Worth the stop through if you're in the area!

Saturday afternoon and customers including this one, all enjoyed pleasant service from the staff. All display cases, refrigerated and heated, were full of Yumalicious goodies. I bought a Belgian Chocolate block cake. The photos show... 4 hours after buying it, and sharing it with friends over a cuppa, is what's left. I doubt it will last until Sunday night. Highly recommend this shop, it is open 27/7 also. Seating inside and outside. Great for catching up with buddies, or work colleagues.
