An Indian Affair Armidale

Great meals, friendly staff & some good beer options on the menu. My favourite restaurant in Armidale.

Really well priced and good flavours!

Our meal was spectacular, and the service was amazing.

We ordered takeaway. We received it an hour and a half later, I can understand as it was busy, however, the first delivery was missing three curries and four naan breads then the second Delivery was missing one of the curries and this one was delivered half an hour later. The response when I rang the first time was ”what would you like us to do about it”. I think this was fairly obvious that we would like the food we had already paid for. For the price I think the portions are only small and very poor delivery service.

Food was awesome (though the butter chicken serving was a tad small) - 4/5 for that. Service was 3/5 and general restaurant atmosphere/condition also a 3/5. Take away at Indian Affair remains an excellent experience, but the dine in experience is someway behind.

Don't be fooled by the shabby looking entrance! As soon as we walked into the restaurant, the whole vibe changed. A lovely Indian place, lots of nice decorations and shooting music. The menu is very wide ranged and features classic Indian dishes as well as specials. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The prices are not extremely low, but fair enough and definitely worth the great food.

They really are delicious..

Tasty - nothing truly amazing, but solidly satisfying. However the takeaway and delivery service is abysmal. Out of half a dozen times we've ordered every single time they've called us 20mins or so after when they said it would be delivered to say some sort if disaster had befallen the restaurant and it would be another 20 minutes. Generally takes 2hrs + to get a delivered order, so we've blacklisted them (quite a feat to get blacklisted in a town where there aren't that many food options).
