Loved the idea of 8 dishes from around the world. Friendly staff. Food was not as good as reviews said. Overpriced for what you get.
EXELLENT food and service. The concept of only 8 awesome dishes is perfect for the small space. All dishes we tried were exceptional and I will definitely be coming back more than 8 times to try them all!
Great food. The burger and the nasi Bali are absolutely fabulous. Highly recommended this place.

Big price for small portion! I had the $20 Dosa which was the size of an entree. It tasted good (the pickled mango not so much) but for that money I expect to have a proper meal!
Not worth the money. Straight up will tell you that. The tacos were average.. the lamb inside tasted pretty basic, nothing spectacular... the fried chicken was very bland. The powder on top is nutmeg.. which they should probably note as some people may be allergic to it... if the chicken did not have the sauce (mildly spicy), it honestly would’ve been pretty hard to eat.. Overall, excellent customer service but not worth your money... unless you’re just trying it because you want to say I’ve been to 8things at Katoomba...
Tasty food, short wait times and a cosy atmosphere. Loved looking over the open kitchen to see what the meals looked like before ordering.
8 things, the name itself should give a hint on the number of items on the menu. Now don't get deviated by that as the taste of the food items is just awesome. Fantastic taste with an equally fantastic service. Also they do take the covid rules seriously ensuring the max number of people allowed to dine in as per the instructions. Overall, a very happy place with a great taste of food. Wish you a Wonderful New Year. Will be back when I visit Katoomba again. Until next time, may the force be with you!!
The food I had was amazing. Super authentic & fresh flavours. Love the idea of a small menu when every dish on there seems delicious! Can’t wait to come back and try the rest!
