Eating at Da Noi is like being transported back to Italy. The food is flawless! I never knew a single olive could taste so good. The "feed me" menu was such a pleasure and one of the best and most memorable meals I have ever had. This restaurant has mastered the art of true Italian cuisine. I'm dreaming about the next time I can go back. I'm also allergic to nuts and the staff were great to make sure I had a no nut experience and the chef even made me a special improvised dessert- which was spectacular.

I am proud to be the first to review this amazing restaurant. I have tasted many Italian restaurants across Melbourne -including the very high end expensive joints- and none had stood out to have pasta that was worth writing for (particularly as I am Italian!). The pasta dishes are perfectly aldente and the flavour is something else that I have never tasted before in Melbourne (beyond my Nonna's cooking of course). Friends and I shared tortelloni and the pasta vodka which was large enough to keep us stuffed- a proper Italian serve! I don't know what they put in the Bolognese sauce but it was like crack. Forget Grossi, Tipo 00 and +39...this is the new number 1 pasta for all round value for money and taste.

Overall this place is pretty good, they have a great range of Sushi and are competitively priced. Only problem is the consistency, especially with the brown rice salmon roll. The last few occasions i've had it the Salmon has been very chewy and the texture just doesn't seem quite right and this has impacted my overall rating. However the other sushi rolls are very tasty, I've tried the tempura prawn, teriyaki chicken and tuna rolls, all of which are well balanced.

Great restaurant and surroundings. Food was imaginative, well-presented and good portion sizes. Service was friendly and attentive. Disability parking would be helpful. Access isn't really great, but not unmanageable.
