7 Elizabeth St 3000, Melbourne

This new takeway/fast food outlet is owned by the same family that owns Stalactites, one of Melbourne's well established Greek restaurants. It's in a really convenient location right opposite the Flinders Street Station. We thought that the lamb was delicious - it was very good quality and decent value for money.

Absolutely the best meal I've had in a very long time. Atmosphere is very welcoming and staff are so friendly. We had a table of 6 and each had 2 courses each and every meal was mouth watering.

GO Noodle House Australia
4.0
/ 157

195 Exhibition St 3000, Melbourne

New shop in Melbourne. Competitor will be Jojo. This shop allows credit card and the food is superb. The spicy sour soup added with vinegar give a different prospective of sour. We also tried the fish skin which is thinly fried, definitely not from the packet. Will go back one day to try others.

The gluten free buns have changed from the average pumpkin ones. Now awesomeness.

We had a very pleasant business lunch at the Restaurant - a pleasant, well thought out setting, helpful staff and a lovely meal - freshly prepared with the skill you'd expect of an expert Danish chef - a very nice time was had by all

Slate Restaurant Bar
4.1
/ 144

9 Goldsbrough Lane 3000, Melbourne

Held a work function on the balcony for 70 clients. The weather was VERY hot, but the staff were very accommodating understanding and the service was excellent. Drinks and food were great and the partially undercover balcony area was a real hit. We will definitely use this venue again.

Tom's Thai

The food is very Authentic Thai; friendly service and decor is nice too. Cozy Atmosphere!

Hard Pressed Coffee
4.3
/ 124

76 Wellington Pde 3002, Melbourne

Now it’s time to think of a great casual first date. You want something not too intense, but with the option that if it’s going well you’ll easily be able to hangout longer. Alternatively, if it’s going badly you’re not stuck for three hours sitting next to someone you really wish you weren’t. In this case the most perfect simple first date is a coffee date and where better to go than hard pressed. At hard pressed they are all about the coffee! They take coffee very seriously, specialising in French Pressed (no prizes for guessing where they take their name from). So if you’re a coffee fanatic it would be a great place to go to impress your date because of this slightly different approach, from what is usually found in caffeine soaked Melbourne. This is in addition to the nice chilled out vibe found in this place. For those who aren’t such coffee fans Hard Pressed does a great hot chocolate with Belgium chocolate. Plus if the date is going well stay for some lunch or brunch as the bacon is cooked to perfection. So don’t wait it’s time to go on a coffee date.
