I was visiting Melbourne. After two unrelated friends both said I HAD to eat at Alasya, I decided to give it a try. Absolutely delicious food! Very flavorful, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. I recommend it whole-heartedly.

Always love going to this restaurant. It's become really popular lately...but the customer service is good and they always try to fit me in! I recommend the Vietnamese Beef, the Fried Flounder and a bottle of Wynn's red to compliment. Ambience is laidback and restaurant is noisy. Average main course is $10 - $20.

This pub is a great little hidden gem in the Brunswick area. Being tucked away down Weston St, the Sporting Club has the grungy-but-cosy vibe of many favourite Sydney Rd establishments, but without the often heaving crowds of pubs on the main strip. The Sporting Club has a number of rooms, with the front room for bands/drinks, and the backroom having a far more chilled/dining vibe. Expansive beer garden for the warmer evenings. Food is well-priced pub fare with a Mexican/Spanish twist. Yum! Overall a great little local!

We ordered a vegetarian thali here and it was the best Nepalese thali we have ever had in Melbourne. We lapped up all the food in no time... it was that good! The owner and staff here are extremely polite and friendly and they gave us mango lassi as a complimentary drink when they came to know it was my wife's birthday. Definitely coming here again for sure.
Pasta was absolutely beautiful. So fresh, and the sauce is delicious. Definitely coming back
