A Minor Place.

I have been going here since 2006 and it is still the best! I love the food, love the feel, and love the staff!

Such a lovely and cosy neighbourhood spot with great coffee and friendly staff. Love it. Only room for improvement is more vegan options and less animal centric dishes.

I have been a fan of a minor place for 5 years. However I just had a awful experience and will be hesitant to come back again. I arrived at 11.50 we were sat at the table and ordered at around 12.10. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait. At around 12.45 I was told that part of my order was now unavailable (waffle fries). I was asked if I wanted to get another side however it would cost me over $5. A large table who had arrived after us got their food before us and got waffle fries. After 50 minutes of waiting we asked how our food was coming along and the waitress told us she would check and did not come back. Our food eventually arrived after waiting for over 1 hour. While it was delicious it was not worth the 1 hour wait. Or the 11$ surcharge thanks to it being a public holiday. I hate complaining but this was just not okay. I am short of money thanks to the recent lockdown so spending money and having an experience like this is incredibly disappointing.

A great experience. Staff was friendly and attentive. We rocked up at noon on a Sunday. They sat us outside and brought us coffee. We both had the brekky sandwich with sourdough bread. Sandwiches were delicious. Perfectly cooked and the jalapeño relish was the best. Everyone was super friendly. And everyone was happy. Seriously great vibe. They also have a coffee window and people sat outside with their pups. All in all, definitely five stars.

Excellent service. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home. We had 2 cold brew coffee. One long mac. And one long black. Coffee was spot on. We also ordered the smashed avo, the tostie, the minor breakfast, and some crazy bespoke concoction our friend ordered. The food was very good. The smashed avo and minor breakfast were a hit. The toasty was nothing spectacular. But I'm not sure what I expected with a toasty. Good job guys!

There was a period a few years ago when I stopped coming here, perhaps the food was a little underwhelming. But I've been here twice in the last few weeks and both times have been great. Friendly service and tasty food, nice to have another local to go to again!

Friendly cafe with a nice atmosphere. Coffee is good. Lots of space and a nice back yard with tables. Several nice looking vegan options. Disappointed with the vegan burger meal though. For $24 I would expect more on the plate.

This is our household local cafe and we all love it. There is something for everyone while meeting the breakfast standards of Melbourne foodies.
