Sushi Edo Newmarket
4.4
/ 432

Shop 129 400 Newmarket Rd 4051, Brisbane

This is a review of Ryder Evans Photography. Me and my wife visit Sushi Edo almost once a week. We really love that the sushi is made fresh and the iPad ordering system is fantastic as you don't have to wait until someone is walking past. I have recommended Sushi Edo multiple times to family and friends and i can honestly say its the freshest and best sushi in Brisbane. Happy customer since they opened. Plus $3.50 per plate. Insane.

Best meat I’ve had in a long time. So so good.

Factory 51
4.5
/ 400

51 Holdsworth St Coorparoo 4151, Brisbane

Pretty impressed with our dining experience at Factory 51 recently. From the get go the staff were SOO friendly; very attentive. The food came out quick. For a group of 4, we got a variety of entrees, a jug of sweet cider, 1 pizza, 1 wine, dessert & 2 coffees and the total was around $140. Not too bad as we all splitt the bill at the end. The entrees were very tasty, pizza was thin & delicious; simple & traditional Italian flavours. The pizza was oven they had looked really goodđź‘Ś Dessert was not the greatest in the world, but nice. They only had 3 desserts to choose from though which was disappointing. Coffee was dark & bold; I needed a bit of sugar in mine as it was a little bitter. I have read some reviews on the Internet about this place that wasn't so good, so we were super surprised with our experience. We always like to try for ourselves despite bad reveiws because I guess each experience is different. I guess hopefully their service & food remain consistently good, and of high a standard so everyones dining experience is great. When i asked what the staff recommend or what their favourite thing to order was, they just recommended what people normally order. I'm not sure they had tried any of the food themselves. I would definitely give it a chance. Outdoor area is covered, so it's nice and warm. If you don't like high stools, book a table that has chairs that are lower, especially if you have back problems. Just a thought for elderly people.

Tingalpa Hotel
4.3
/ 458

1563 Wynnum Rd Tingalpa 4173, Brisbane

Website needs updating, "Whats On" link doesn't work and applying to be a member gets no response. Specials are great, ordering outside of them gets to be expensive. Bar is beautiful and well maintained, staffed with helpful and polite employees who unfortunately don't have that sense of urgency required during a peak period behind a bar. Food was fantastic, tailored to suit everyone including the kids. Open viewing kitchen is a good idea, however requires more dicpline toward cleanilness from the chefs if they intend to keep a good reputation. Overall a great place with some very easily fixable issues.

Phat Elephant

Post Office Square 280 Queen St Shop 7 Post Office Square 4000, Brisbane

Great pad thai and caters well for allergies! Also, it is very busy - I found the best time to go is when it is raining as less people :-).

The Boundary Hotel
4.2
/ 485

137 Boundary St West End 4101, Brisbane

Great place for a Sunday hang! $4 basics are great. Criticisms - Bar staff are pretty slow and look like they're day-dreaming and the tables (including underneath!) need a good soap-up and squeegee.

The Prince Consort Hotel
4.2
/ 485

230 Wickham St 4006, Brisbane

Sunday arvo session at the E&W was a pretty good way to end the weekend. Cheap steaks were decent for being cheap and lively atmosphere. Will definitely spend another Sunday arvo here!

Hotel Richlands
4.0
/ 561

132 Government Rd Richlands 4077 0, Brisbane

We had lunch today at Hotel Richlands and loved the new bar menu. The steak was amazing. I have spent $30 on a steak and it wasn't as good as the one I had today for only $10. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu. Sue

THE STAFF ARE RUDE AND MANAGEMENT HAS STUPID RULES!! We have been going here regularly over the past 6 months and have never had a smile from one of the waitresses! however, we thought it was all about the social outing and not the rude staff......until. One night we ordered 4 ice creams in a waffle cone and one for my child in a takeaway cup because he wanted to take it home as he wasn't hungry at the time. We sat down outside at one of the tables and straight away we had a waitress come over and tell us that takeaway cups were only for takeaway! When I explained to her that it was for a minor who wasn't hungry and was just waiting for us she left and went inside and told management. Two minutes later a chef comes out! We were told by him that my child was not allowed to sit at the table with us because his ice cream was in a takeaway cup. He basically said that the MINOR was to leave the premises and stand next to the road whilst we were allowed to stay and finish our ice creams because they were in a cone. We all left before finishing our ice creams as we were not going to let a 10 year old stand next to the road because of management. WE WILL NEVER VISIT THIS VENUE AGAIN. Obviously a child's safety is not a concern at this place even though they are serving what a child likes best...ice cream. SERIOUSLY!!

The Jindalee Hotel
4.0
/ 552

Corner Sinnamon and Goggs Roads Jindalee 4074, Brisbane

Nice place to get a drink if you're a local or in the area. Relatively modern pub with nice find and atmosphere. They also tend to show the big sporting events and UFC which is a plus if you're a fan!

Baba Ganouj
4.3
/ 444

S06D Little Stanley Street South Bank 4000, Brisbane

Worth leaving Southbank for lunch here, delicious cappuccino and wrap.

Warner Tavern
4.1
/ 512

2 Everest St Warner 4500, Brisbane

Had dinner here on a busy Saturday night. While the meal was slow in being served when it did arrive the meal was enjoyable. The serving size was okay the vegetables were fresh not frozen and the chicken was tender and moist. The service was friendly and helpful. The prices seemed reasonable. Going on this experience I would dine here again. For a rating it would be a 7/10.
