The Defiant Duck

3/84 Longland St Newstead 4006, Brisbane

Great spot for drinks with friends. Inside and outside seating. Good aspect overlooking the Gasworks old Tank. Busy, good vibe, great mix of ages. Young and hip feel.

La Vue Waterfront Restaurant
4.7
/ 297

Admiralty Towers 2 U 1 501 Queen St 4000, Brisbane

Great service, great view and prices that are very reasonable - particularly the wine! Really enjoyed this place.

Blackstar Coffee Roasters
4.4
/ 360

44 Thomas St West End 4101, Brisbane

went here not to long ago for lunch and coffee after some west end locals mentioned it to a friend of mine .I have to say im normally not the biggest coffee person, but this coffee is sensational. I strongly reccomend it. Also got the housecut fries which was really nice along with a beautiful cous cous salad and a sensational mixed platter. The staff were also extremely friendly and efficient. You won't regret having a meal here.

Max Brenner Chocolate Bar
3.4
/ 779

Shop 1.1 & 1.2, Stanley Street Plaza South Bank 4101, Brisbane

For the number of people that go through there they do alright.

Bull Bar
4.3
/ 385

2/85 Elizabeth St 4000, Brisbane

Good menu. It looked very popular for dinner. Prices are good for the area. You can write your name on the walls of this place and leave your mark to its history.

Gerbino's
4.6
/ 312

Toowong Village 9 Sherwood Rd Toowong Village 4066, Brisbane

Gerbinos is a regular drop-in spot for my husband and self -- they do good coffee and we enjoy the fresh lunch selections. Staff very cheerful and obliging even when terribly busy. Unfortunately everyone else has discovered Gerbinos but we can usually get a table to enjoy a snack. Love their canolli - cakes amazing in the second room. Their icecream is proper Italian icecream as well.

The Vietnamese Restaurant
4.3
/ 382

194 Wickham St 4006, Brisbane

The Vietnamese has a large selection for dinner menu however pro hoang Gia is more authentic; the soup base, ingredients and condiments

Billykart Kitchen
4.4
/ 356

1 Eric Cres 4103, Brisbane

Major downside was the polished concrete floor which made the whole venue extremely noisy; difficult to have a conversation with anyone other than the person right next to you. A bit disappointed they weren't doing items from the lunch menu at 11.30am - no mention of that on their website but it was "Breakfast until 11.45am, Lunch from 12pm" when we were there. Overall the food we had was fine but nothing spectacular and not fantastic value.

The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill Chermside
4.1
/ 440

Westfield Chermside, Gympie Rd 4032, Brisbane

The best sports bar in Brisbane, hands down! Great beer selection and the food is awesome 🙌 out of 🙌

Oishii Sushi Bar
4.6
/ 311

Shop 2 70 Pinelands Rd Sunnybank Hills 0, Brisbane

After spending 6 months travelling Japan I didn't think I going to be able to enjoy Australian sushi again, but this place is high quality fresh sushi at a reasonable price. love the "Black Dragon" roll Unagi (Eel) is my favorite. the Sashimi is pretty good and the Himawari roll is great. Oishii means "Yummy" in japanese and they are not wrong.

cool set up. busy place for lunch so service was a little slow but friendly and i formative. Is "share" style so portion sizes are smaller than full meals... expect to spend a little more. the food is pretty yummy- good for something different.
