Cost is expensive given the level of service. Have dined here and had a number of work functions here. All experiences were very disappointing given the location, target clientele and prices. Observed a manager treating his staff very poorly and had words to him about it. Would not recommend this place at all.

Food excellent, atmosphere excellent, service excellent and the value for money is outstanding! One of the best dining experiences we have ever had :) Down side they don't sell Cider! BYO is Wine only.

Very delicious Pizza and Pasta. Daily fresh made dessert. And nice ambience and friendly people.

Delicious food, kids enjoyed it too. Rain's a bit of a bummer.

I really enjoy their coffee and cake! The location and view is beautiful, the staff friendly (although a little slow) and the bowl of coffee fantastic.

A somewhat strange experience. Bombora Seafood has separate restaurant and cafe sections, and although there is no table service, they have a Maitre d' to seat guests who've made reservations. It was a little strange to get seated at a table, then get a menu and a bottle of water with plastic cups, self-service cutlery and napkins, and the only teaspoons they had were plastic too! You order at the counter, and although cafe customers get a number and food delivered to their table, restaurant customers get an electronic receiver to notify them their food is ready to collect from the counter. Despite receiving electronic tags, I only had to collect the entree, they mustn't have been that busy and brought out the rest of the food to our table. The staff seemed pleasant and well mannered. The selection was ok, albeit more expensive than I would have expected from a place that doesn't have table service, the kids meals were reasonably large, the Calamari looked great but some of the chips were very dark and overcooked. The chips that weren't overcooked were delicious. Entree was nice, but the seafood platter for two was a bit hit-n-miss. The Lobster was tiny (I didn't know it was legal to keep them that small), and incredibly overcooked. So was the Bug, so much so there wasn't even any meat left in one half. The Squid and Octopus were quite nice and the fish was ok too. They have a small-ish selection of nice boutique beers, wines, and most of your common softdrinks, and the Gelato was popular with the kids.

Truly amazing burgers, arguably one of the best in Australia. Juicy and full of flavour, great range of standard inclusions and extras. And a great price.

The best sizzling beef I ever tasted ;) A bit more expensive than Sydney but the quality of food is amazing.
329-333 Crown St, Wollongong
Nice food at the bistro, one of the best dinners in my stay from Brisbane to Wolongong, price/quality is superb, the pub is average. I didn't stay at the hotel.
A great spot to stop for lunch after visiting the lighthouse. Grab a table nearby and enjoy the view.
