Lagoon Seafood Restaurant

Amazing food, even better staff. Definitely recommend!!

My mum & I shared yet another superb dinner at the Lagoon. From the moment we walked in our experience was 5 star. From the floor staff to the chefs, we cannot fault this restaurant. Our favourite from the time it opened. Everyone is to be congratulated.

My first experience with with Lagoon. It is expensive. Don't be surprised to have a bill over $100 for 2. The service is outstanding. But the food took forever I had the today's special Seafood Chowder and it was excellent. My sister had the Halloumi Salad. What came out was just Halloumi. A bit misleading as she was looking forward to the salad. Will try Steamers next time and compare.

Tasty food & a great view of the beach. This is high class dining with the expected high price. The down fall was as soon as we sat we had waiter after waiter ask for our order before we got to look at the menu and then after looking at the menu we struggled to get a waiting. Also our table was shaky however the staff were quite kind in placing a folded napkin underneath to stop it shaking. The meals are quite filling and the 3 course meal are quite reasonable for price as well. I had the sea food basket for 2 with my mother and we were both quite full after. A nice way to treat yourself every once in a while.

Table of 8, Easter Sunday evening. We were greeted by a lovely waiter who couldn't be more helpful. Drinks and meals came out in good time and everyone really enjoyed their meals. My daughter's steak was cooked to perfection. The seafood platter for 3 was amazing, fresh and more than enough for 3 hungry men. This is not a cheap night out, meal prices are more than above average but the location, service and atmosphere was well worth it considering the special occasion we were celebrating. Don't complain about the prices if you can't be bothered viewing the menu online before you arrive. Thanks Lagoon for a lovely evening.

Went here for breakfast. The place is excellent but you have to get there early to get parking as it’s inside the Stuart park. When we went just before 9am on a Sunday the parking was barely there. Sat outside.. the tables and the deck look rustic and old.. probably need a bit of maintenance. Anyway the breakfast was good. The coffee is good. We all ordered the eggs with different items.The issue we had was with the waffles.. it was very weird tasting. It’s a good place for breakfast as it’s closer to the beach and the park.

Friday night dinner with the kids. Enjoyed the zucchini flowers, haloumi and the black angus Eye fillet steak. Could not fault the food, venue or staff when they were serving us. Found it really hard to get their attention, only down side all night. Highly recommend

Came for a group function, multiple meals were served incorrectly (missing items, items left on that one guest was allergic too and had explained, cold food etc), many of the dishes were extremely undersized when taking into account the pricing (have had much better seafood experiences at restaurants and even pubs for a fraction of the price) I will say the platters, both bbq and for 2/3 were enjoyable and had a reasonable quantity. In addition to this we encountered extremely tactless and rude service specifically from management, the language and communication used was worse than I've ever experienced and something I wouldn't expect from a dingy pub let alone a fine dining restaurant. The waitress/server we had was the only saving grace and was absolutely lovely, however we also witnessed her been spoken to disgustingly. Must say I am not surprised after hearing statements (which I will not disclose here) about management/ownership from current and former employees, I entered with an unbiased view hoping to have a good experience but can only say what I have heard only seemed to be confirmed. Truly the most appalling service I have ever received.

I just want to say the seafood platter for 2 was absolutely amazing! Dakota our waiter was gorgeous! I can not fault any of the staff or the restaurant. Thank you for such a beautiful experience and a big thank you to Dakota. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return!

We had the pleasure of dining at Lagoon’s today to celebrate my birthday. The food was absolutely delicious - we had the seafood platter, followed by the very delicious chocolate caramel peanut bomb! But the service was outstanding - especially our waiter Carlos! He went above and beyond to ensure our lunch was enjoyable and nothing was too much to ask! He was pleasant and he made us feel at home! Thank you Carlos!
