Bombora Seafood Cafe/Restaurant

This place has such a gorgeous spot, and you'd imagine the best taste of seafood, but as beautiful as my food was, it was disappointing. I got the scallop mushroom risotto and the scallops were overcooked. The mushrooms were undercooked, and I found myself wanting to put salt on everything. The scallops also didn't have their "foot" removed, so I found myself chewing on that uncomfortably. The portion of risotto to scallops was huge. Not a good meal, but a gorgeous view! Just get some wine here or something!

Service and food were excellent

Great view for brunch on a sunny Saturday. The staff were great, very friendly and attentive. The food was beautiful, generous serving size at a great price.

Amazing food at a reasonable price. The service was top notch. We were lucky enough to grab a table outside so we could take in the view of the harbour from the balcony. Add this one to your bucket list, highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I visited here to grab a coffee as we regularly walk past and wanted to take in the view. Unfortunately we will never return due to such rude and aggressive service. It was apparently too inconvenient to ask the staff to roughly estimate how much milk was used (as someone who has dietary requirements). Firstly they were shocked and after explaining that i was just hoping for an approximation on the amount of milk they managed but not without causing a fuss. Then when i simply confirmed my order when it was given to me i was given severe attitude, called ‘ma’am’ and general rude behaviour. The coffee was average, staff appalling and the view is better to walk past.

Great view with a brunch menu. Reasonable prices and most sauces etc made on site. Friendly staff. Large tasty meals. We ordered prawns battered with salad and chicken parmy with prawns and pineapple. Nice. Wine $7 glass.
