This place is absolutely amazing. Firstly the atmosphere and the fit out reminds me of an up market London Hotel brasserie...think Sanderson Hotel blended with The Notting Hill Hotel. Unfortunately there are few establishments in Sydney that pay attention to the atmosphere they create...here it's bang on for drinks, lunch or dinner wether your by yourself, a couple or a group. The food has had the same level of effort put into it...truly sublime and the wine list to match. I would highly recommend you visit as you can see I'm a fan!!!
41 Cowper Wharf Rdwy 2011, Sydney
Nice venue, but the pasta I had (spaghetti marinara) was too salty for my liking. Dessert was delicious tho! (Chocolate "Nemesis" and Almond Apple something).
Queen Victoria Building 455 George St Shop 44, Level 1, Queen Victoria Building 2000, Sydney
Rush lunch on a busy Sunday. Pleasantly surprised by the corn fritters which were fluffy and flavoursome (though could be even more tasty with more corn!). Waitstaff were a little forgetful and a harried during peak hour.
101 Glebe Point Rd 2037, Sydney
traditional Spanish home made wine, a little bit fruit in it, like sparking, but it is not, it is really a amazing drinking for every moment, every crispy vegetable were recommended, also the cheese meat ball was excellent.
Harbourside Darling Harbour Level 1, Shop 297-297 2000, Sydney
I went to Olivo Restaurant for breakfast with a friend. My cappuccino and omelette were ok, but nothing special. The orange juice was not nice, too watery and probably from concentrate. The view is really nice though. I would go there again.
Shop 7 50 Macleay St Beside Fitzroy Gardens 2011, Sydney
Enjoyable German food. Had great service and a cute german atmosphere. Wish it wasn't a 'cash only' restaurant.
25 Parramatta Rd 2050, Sydney
traditional fast food but it is very good for that type of food. easy to find on the corner of king street, bus stops outside. a small amount of parking but best to go on foot. the train station is just around the corner
355 Glebe Point Rd Glebe 2037, Sydney
It is a new restaurant in Glebe. I had the best risotto with mushrooms ever! It is a very warm and comfortable place. It was also an Italian team running the restaurant very friendly.
3 / 54 - 56 Kalang Road Elanora Heights 2101, Sydney
Buzzing with atmosphere and French chic. The staff are wonderfully helpful and relaxed. The food was delicious- full of flavour and didn’t disappoint. Not too much to choose from on the menu, so you know that everything they do, they do well. We will be here again! And next time we promise we’ll have dessert.
73 Glebe Point Rd 2037, Sydney
Had a very delicious breakfast here! Highly recommend - wonderful staff, great pricing and the best polish food
320 George St Ivy Precinct 2000, Sydney
Overpriced, but the food and service is fantastic. Located within the Ivy complex so the crowd can be slightly pretentious, but if you are in the mood for an evening of tasty Italian food and extravagance, with a great view over Ivy pool - Uccello is the place to be!
111 Elizabeth St between King & Market Streets 2000, Sydney
OK food. Found service very slow when the restaurant was busy (half full).
Level 3, 12 Darling Drive Sofitel Hotel Darling Harbour 2000, Sydney
Luxuriously annointed place, stylish decor, thoughtful service - however the dinner was a bit of a let down. The John Dory was dry as was the crispy skin duck. Expected more from a restaurant of this calibre. However, for those staying at the Sofitel, the breakfast in the morning is quite good with fresh options.
Big open room with simple -yet delicious- Italian food and pastries. Great for a nice relaxed weekend lunch. No liquor license when I visited but they're happy for you to BYOB or grab a glass of wine from the bar next door. Coffees are great as well. Note that there is a dedicated space for cooking classes (requires booking) if you're into pasta making
