We came here for a birthday celebration last Saturday and had the best night. Delicious food and drinks and excellent service. Karina our wait staff made our night! Super attentive, friendly, funny and great recommendations! Can’t wait to come back!

The food was really good but we waited a long time to receive it, it’s definitely on the pricier side. The staff were super friendly and attentive. We got the steak, chicken, broccolini, fried potatoes and Ragu pasta.

Management needs a complete overhaul!!!! The menu is overpriced, boring and outdated. Service was good (saving grace) The bathroom situation is very poor The wine list was good although we waited far too long for our drinks I’ll travel a little bit further next time and hit Ormeggio at the spit for REAL and exciting Italian food. Uccello..... fail!!!! Get a manager that understands food. Highly disappointed

Elegant and chic decor in creme tones throughout. Food and cocktails were delicious. Tried multiple starters and pastas all were on point. Highly recommend "la passione" for a cocktail.

Considering that it is a two chef hat restaurant, I was worried that there wouldn't be availability when we decided to walk down and see if they had availability. There was a handful of open tables on a weekday near the end of the lunch service which was great. It was a perfect opportunity to try one of the best restaurants in Sydney, no regrets at all.

Really enjoyed this experience, service was excellent, couldn’t fault it. Possibly helped we were with a member so received the VIP treatment. Great decor, really do feel like you have transported from Sydney CBD to a Mediterranean hotspot. We shared the chargrilled prawns, prosciutto san Daniele, wood roasted octopus & zuccini flowers to start...now I am fortunate to dine at lots of great restaurants and it’s not often I walk away feeling like I would go back for everything again! It was all so good and had a slightly unique Flare. For mains we shared the bistecca fiorentina and a special not on the menu of whole lobster tagliolini that was incredible. Even the sides where special. I don’t often say this about Merivale, but considering how many cocktails we all had and the amount of quality food I was surprised when the bill came and it wasn’t as pricey as I expected. Don’t get me wrong, it’s up there, worked out just over $200 a head but I have picked up far more damaging bills for far inferior quality, quantity and service! I’ll definitely go back and soon.

Set in beautiful poolside surroundings, Uccello is ivy's hidden rooftop gem. Featuring an authentic Italian menu with only the freshest produce, each dish allows the ingredients to speak for themselves. Head Chef Ben Sitton’s menu combines intricate flavours with influences from all over Italy. Think Piedmontese tartare with anchovies and witlof or goats curd tortelli with peas. Making the most of Uccello’s stone oven, Ben has also perfected wood-fired proteins such as octopus with chickpea puree, quail with pomegranate and Bangalow pork loin with Tuscan cavolo nero. The dolci menu is also not to be missed, try deep fried citrus custard or Zokoko dark chocolate mousse for a sweet end to a relaxed afternoon atop ivy. Uccello’s menu is also perfectly complemented by an outstanding wine list by Head Sommelier Tim Perlstone, featuring 450 Italian wines.
