407 King St 2042, Sydney

They kept the betta meats shop front so huge+++ there. inside, it a long bar with lots of pictures on the walls and that's kind of it. Very now and they do $10 cocktails and $17/8 ones as well. Nice vibe and rambuctious. Bar guy was friendly. People dancing at the back. very newtown and this place is new. I like it.

105 Regent St Redfern, NSW 2016 2016, Sydney

Nice little cafe who serve amazingly tasty cheap burgers and delicious milkshakes (try some of their crazy flavours, especially the miso one which goes especially well with their burgers). Their fries are pretty good too. The staff here are friendly and keen for a chat, although the kitchen sometimes seems a little disorganised.

My favourite Irish Bar. Great for lunch at the weekend.

Kindness Cafe

248 Palmer Street Shop 6, Republic 2 Court Yard 2010, Sydney

I followed a recommendation last week and took my omnivore boyfriend to Kindness Cafe on Palmer Street tonight. I had the best time!!! They are a vegetarian/vegan restaurant with Thai style food, all organic and the best service. We had roti, curry puffs, corn fritters, fried tofu and tofu cakes. Then an amazing warm crumbly tofu and spicy green apple salad, tom kha soup and a red curry. She gave us dessert on the house! It was a sago and taro with coconut milk and flaky coconut on top. Everything was served in such a kind, peaceful and beautiful way; even the ice cubes were in the shape of little flowers! I was so excited to be there and the owner De was so excited to have us, she hugged us and thanked us for coming. After we had the roti dipping sauce, my omni boyfriend said he prefers the taste of the vegan one to the one with beef he ate last week and that he'd come back. I am so so so happy to have found this place and encourage everyone to come give it a try!

Sottis on Crown
4.3
/ 343

89 Crown St 2010, Sydney

The food is delicious and the coffee is great. People familiar with this space will know that it is airy and full of natural light. It can get a little chilly on colder days but you are looked after with blankets and heaters if you're outside. Service is quite attentive though it is still a little rough around the edges during these early days. Like many newer locations in this area the prices are a little on the higher side - though the quality and presentation of the food justifies the cost.

Some things are worth queuing up for - this place being one of them. The specials are always amazing, but I cannot get past the soft shell crab.

The Potting Shed

41/43 Bourke Rd Alexandria 2015, Sydney

A very nice, chilled experience. The food was delicious, the staff were great and the atmosphere was very relaxing. A great place to have lunch on a nice day.

Momofuku Seiobo

Star City Casino Entertainment 80 Pyrmont St Level G, Edward St Entrance, The Star 2009, Sydney

had both the degustation AND the bar menu. degustation is 15 courses with wacky dishes. you will love it or hate it but generally a very unforgettable experience. i had the bar menu 3 months later after the degustation and the staff still remembers me! THAT'S SERVICE!

Churrasco
4.1
/ 393

60-70 William St Woolloomooloo 2011, Sydney

I had an "all you can eat" meal and it was pretty generous and tasteful. The only one thing was actually not good was the "red and green disc" you show to waiters in order to say "I want eat" or "I don't", but they didn't respect it at all. The Chile wine we choose was great and the overall rating of food was ok. It's a good solution for a group of friends just to share the food al together in a easy atmosphere.

As a local went here often but they still overcharge and the quality is slipping last time was the last
