What a wonderful restaurant in all its iterations over the past 10 years. Paul is able to combine big Caribbean flavours and spice with a deft touch to create unique and extraordinary flavours that are thoroughly enjoyable. The seafood tower sets the standard for the night and it never slips. Kylie is a rockstar, her FOH team are friendly, engaging, fun and informative. Their service and style strikes the perfect balance. Love this place, was here when it opened and will be here when it (sadly) closes. Thank you 😘

It’s a fusion restaurant. Food & matching wine made very unique taste. The live crayfish is the reason I gave 5 stars, as the meat is very fresh and succulent. Bubbles from the sparkling wine go after the fish roes, it excites the tongue.

An interesting take on Caribbean cuisine. The tasting menu was hit and miss, some dishes were great, particularly impressed with the 1st course, whilst others were okay at best with dessert rather underwhelming. Wine selection was good and so were the cocktails, although they didn't allow for any changes to cocktails or make any off-menu classic cocktails. Waitstaff were busy but attentive. Overall, it was a good experience but a bit expensive, with some courses missing the mark.

Dinner was amazing! Max the Som was very knowledgeable and we loved the cellar pairing. Paul was so nice and hospitable- his food was delicious! Loved it!

A really beautiful dining experience. Each dish is thoughtful and beautifully cooked and the service is just great. The wine pairing is a great journey as well and absolutely spot on. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing food and plenty of it. Highlights were the seafood platter and beef patty. The wines in the beverage pairing were excellent and we'll matched. Fantastic service too.

Unusual experience of Caribbean cuisine. Amazing matching wine top notch 5 stars! but taste of first seafood dishes were rather too spicy for every guesses on the day I think at restaurant best in Sydney, should be able to twist the strength of this flavour to ones cannot take chilli… but I guess it then become unforgettable moment on the dish. Others dishes were unusual look and not knowing what to expect really make the dinning quite fun and interesting, although taste of the dishes some mimic other Asian dished (the mushroom with rice, the wrapping Savoy coconut) were reasonable enjoyable. Curry spiced Meat Pie or puff was also very intended flavour and nice. Overall the dishes themselves have own spice tastes but somehow look rather not high end ingredients and as 3 hat restaurant I might expect a bit more that what were presented. Service was top notch and welcoming 5 stars. It is sad to know the restaurant is closing down from July. It's an unusual experience of the not often seen cuisine.

Had a tremendous evening at Momofuku Seiobo last night. Every course was incredible, my particular favourites were the welcome platter and the Jamaican Beef and Abalone patty. Max's introductions and explanations of the wine and sake for each course were detailed and informative and each pairing perfectly complemented the course. The service throughout was excellent, warm and attentive from start till when eventually our evening had to end.

Momofuku Seiōbo celebrates the cuisine of the Caribbean through the voice of our team and the bounty of Australian produce. In the main dining area, Executive Chef Paul Carmichael and team serve a tasting menu that changes frequently. Reservations for the main dining area must be made in advance through our online system. Seiōbo also has a 5-seat bar that serves a limited bar menu. Bar seating is first come, first serve. Momofuku Seiōbo has three hats from The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2019. Momofuku Seiōbo is currently ranked No. 2 restaurant in Australia by Gourmet Traveller Magazine 2019.
