FANTASTIC VALUE Stay at Hydro Majestic Hotel due to its location, history and it did not disappoint. We were impressed by the real heritage elegant hotel with an authentic feel about it, perfectly comfortable with a very friendly atmosphere. The staff was all super friendly and went out of their way to help us. High tea at Winter Garden restaurant was our marvelous time. Will definitely be going back.

Called to book for afternoon tea. Got there and was given high tea menu, when we asked if there are just options for coffee and cake the attendant had such attitude and was so dismissive. eventually she abruptly advised we could have a Devonshire tea but it's not on the menu. It was lovely but her attitude ruined the experience. Scones were really lovely.

This is the Carrington Hotel's main restaurant and wow, what a place. It's said to be one of the last Victorian style restaurants in Australia with original features. It's like a journey back through time and a must see if ever in Katoomba.
