We went on the second day of opening (apparently it opened Fri 23rd June). New staff, they were not familiar with the menu. Ordered and then was told later an item wasn't available. Katy's-don came with curry that we didn't request or order. Offered Miso soup at the end of the meal (which we didn't want at that time, nor were we sure if it was complimentary or not). Some logistics to sort out. Food was okay. The bento box had plenty to eat, though the menu showed a cake for dessert, we got fruit. Katsu-don was nice when we got the right one we ordered. Should be improved in a little while as they sort themselves out. Staff were nice, attentive because not many customers, and slightly green. Will try them again later.

Moving to Shop53A/436 Victoria Ave, Chatswood
This is a hidden takeaway shop with a few tables, located right at Chatswood interchange. It's next to the golden arches, but serves much better food. We came to try it out for lunch and had steamed vegetable dumplings, Xiao long bao (steamed pork meat dumplings), pan fried pork buns, and the deep fried taro sandwiches. The pan fried pork buns were great, there was plenty of meat, not a lot of soup, but most importantly it had a crispy bottom. The Xiao long bao had the same sort of meat inside, so didn't have that much soup inside. That was fine by me. There was more meat inside one of these compared to most other places in Chatswood (eg new shanghai, or even din tai fung). The vegetable dumpling was as expected, probably a bit more horse radish flavour than expected, but all good. I have no idea why we ordered the deep fried taro sandwich, but it was an interesting sweet treat to eat at the end of the meal. This shop was reasonably priced, service was very quick and efficient, and the staff even smiled. I suppose if they get busy it will be hard to get a seat at one of the few tables they have. Worthwhile. Edit: I've been back to try the Fried rice with XO chicken. That was okay for me, but probably a bit much added chilli's for my family's taste. The Shepherds purse dumplings were okay too. The pan fried pork buns had more soup today, and the meat not so tough. But they were deep fried. Service was good with a smile. Very efficient just like the first time.

Apart from the long queue and wait sometimes, this place is the bomb. If you like spicy Sichuan soup, it's a win!

The food is really good - it doesn't adhere to the regular taste of Chinese food and is actually pulled off quite well. Just a warning: my family had to wait about an hour for food to start coming. So be wary of that.

Good decoration, food was good enough. Called in to make reservation, but the three of us were still asked to wait for more than half an hour. It's a popular place, but when reservation is confirmed, arrangement should have been made. Ordered spicy/chilli chicken (辣子鸡), spicy beef soup(水煮牛肉), spicy cauliflower (干锅花菜), spicy mini crayfish(麻辣小龙虾)。 Staff showed us the live mini crayfish, that was nice. But the crayfish dish was too soggy for my liking. There is not much flavour but the spicy and peppercorn taste. Cauliflower is probably the best dish amongst all. They kind cheated by using ham instead of the proper Chinese meat that suppose to be in the dish. Beef was tender, thanks to the baking soda, wayyyyyyy too much is it. I can hardly taste the beef. The flavour the chicken was ok, but you can hardly find any meat in that dish, all chopped so fine and so few of them. We wondered if we have asked the staff to remove all the chilli, we would have left with a small dish of peanuts instead. Try once is probably a good idea, but I won't be going back
Can't fault their service and quality...
