Best. Seafood. Ever. Fish and chips that will make you reevaluate your entire existence. Delicious.
I searched google map and found a review saying this restaurant was good, so I decided to try it out in March 2008 when I travelled to Bicheno with my husband. The decor of the restaurant was comtempory, the atmosphere was great. My first impression towards this restaurant was pretty good. After I sat down, we ordered a garlic bread as entree, salmon, fish & chips as main. The garlic bread took a long time(15-20min) to come over, and they were half burnt. The waitresses were too busy, and we were so hungry that didn't even bother to ask them to swop, it may take longer time to arrive. Anyway, we waited for the main course. My husband had the salmon, he was expecting the salmon cooked in a crispy skin and tender flesh way, but he was disappointed. My fish was so so, the chips tasted better. The dinner cost about $80, and it was not as good as the one we had in the launceston casino bristro cafe, which cost around $30.
Using only the best beans (Zimmah Coffee), The Farm Shed baristas brew one mean coffee! Incredibly polite and welcoming, the staff here made for a great first impression, paralleled by the cozy and urban design. Would definitely recommend as a must stop for any great eastern road trippers :)
Absolutely divine, don't miss it! The best coffee within miles of Bicheno. The best pastries on the east coast of Tasmania. You need to go early when they open to get the beautiful pastries, cakes and bread as they sell out quickly. Lovely young couple run the place. It's just sublime.
Good price for a single peraon with tent. Shops are near. Takeaway, coffee and other items at reception. Camp kitchen could be better.
5 stars for one of the best views. Have a cool drink with the friendly locals, always welcoming and up for a chat. Also one of the smallest club building!
A good place for a short but charming walk overlooking the beautiful rocks on the coastline.
I don’t eat the things, but the people I was with raved about the food here. Good luck to them.
