Don't go anywhere else! The venue is awsome, rustic and right on the water. Any closer and you'd be swimming. The food is by far the best fish and chips I've had (coming from a mainlander who resides on the coast). Reasonably priced. Met the owner who was extremely nice and even showed us the fresh seafood out back. Will be back for my next trip.

By far one of the best fish & chip seafood experiences. The fish was caught fresh in the morning and the owner was very friendly. We were fortunate enough to even see some Fairy Penguins!! Would highly recommend!!

Other reviews below mention that this place was in the top ten in the 2018 Australian Seafood Awards. I can say that in 2018, yes it was amazing, probably the best seafood I’d ever had. But sadly it has changed a lot since then. Fish and chips aren’t bad, just average, but very overpriced. We remembered our visit from 2018 so came back excited for the same awesome value for money but now you’re looking at $16 for a single serving of whiting & chips - I had expected a full piece of fish for the price but it was 5 small pieces of battered fish & small chips. As I said, not terrible food, just nowhere near as good as it was in 2018, back when they deserved that award :-)

Ordered basket for 2, fair bit of food so value was good, and the food was tasty, special mention to the chips. However it was very oily, so oily my partner, friend and myself couldn't finish our meals. The dining experience leaves a lot to be desired also, this place could become anything it wanted as it always seems to be busy!

Must try fish and chip in Bicheno as it is in the top 10 fish and chip in Australia. Tried a Wrasse fish and chip. Was my first time knowing this fish and it tasted good. Chips is awesome, crunchy and cooked through. Scallops are amazing. Price is decent for a shop in a small town. You can have fish and chip with a stunning view at the ramp. Also tried gummy shark (known as flake) in the next morning. It is soft, smooth and natural sweet taste. It is a must-go place. Oysters are succulent too and it tasted even better than oysters from bruny island (personally). It’s my second place to eat oysters in Australia. The first is in George Town. Highly recommended.
