Osborn Rd, McLaren Vale
We enjoyed a beautiful lunch at the verandah restaurant. The food was superb and the service outstanding. A lovely setting with great views indoor/outdoor dining. Sails and large umbrellas protect you from the elements and windows open for those who fine inside.
Amazing architecture, beautiful views. The art inside are astonishing including the 360 movies. Worth spending $25 for the ticket. I loved each and every pieces of art and the whole cube.
Incredible place with a lot of fun stuff to see. The entrance is $10 and it's definitely worth it. Every single room including toilets has something interesting and unique. We were lucky to come at 11:00am, our friend who came at 11:30am had to wait in a queue. So better come early.
Great experience. If you are in Adelaide you definitelly should visit the d'Arenberg Cube, its only 45mins from CBD.
Something quite different at a winery in South Australia's McLaren Vale. Art exhibitions on one of the 4 floors of the cube. Definitely worth a visit.
Exceptional food. A must try place for those who like Degustation dining. If you are into wines, dining at D'aryl's Verandah restaurant allows free entry into the wine tasting Cube where there is three "flights" of wine to sample. There's also free entry into the art exhibition. Allow an extra hour for these activities
We paid $25 per adult for entry that includes wine tasting and gallery entry. The grounds are awesome with great views and lots of sculpture. Inside the cube there's a lot of artwork to view. The wine tasting is great. A great place to spend a couple of hours.
An interesting place to visit. Very creative and unexpected, reminding me of the media museum in Federation Square in Melbourne or the Science Museum in London. Car park is pretty chaotic. The Dali exhibition was interesting too, but no Dali works! Only duplicates of statues and prints by a Spanish guy who copies the style of Dali. Like just one of the dozens of print was $5,500 and was numbered 471/4000. So that's $20m from that one print (no doubt sold around the world). Finally tried some wine tasting, probably the most disappointing part of the visit. Still, worth seeing for the experience. Entry was $20 each which included the exhibition. Great view from the top level balconies.
We had the degustation here and have to say it possibly one of our favourites now. The experience was just magical, the food had so much taste plus presentation was special. Also, I must say the waiters are so friendly and go out of their way to make you welcome. We will remember the whole experience for some time and needless to say, we were the last ones out. Nearly forgot, blokes, make sure you have a toilet break, their very interesting!
Wine is great, food and service at Polly's cafe was ordinary.
