Zonzo Estate Yarra Valley

Our experience at Zonzo was amazing..would recommend this beautiful place to anyone

A beautiful location and easy drive from Melbourne. Was frustrating that any party size. on Saturdays and Sundays must dine under the feed me menu as there were many other pizzas and starters we would have liked to try. The pizzas were crisp and generous toppings, the dough is very nice. However everything else just felt like a wedding reception, lacking flavour and for our antipasti board and gnocchi dish, it felt as though it had been sitting there for an hour or so and they just bring it out as soon as an order comes through. It did not feel freshly made to order.

The scenery, the food and the wine were wonderful, and we had a great time. It's a very stylish restaurant, so I think it's great for weddings. Unfortunately, the flute glass was rough and cheap. The other glasses looked fine though. Wouldn't it make you feel better if the glass was a little nicer?

The service was friendly and tried very hard, everyone liked the pizza. Thin base, well baked and neatly topped, that's the way it should be! The lamb and various desserts also scored well. All in all, a thriving restaurant in a quiet atmosphere in great nature.
