ZEN vegetarian restaurant

Absolutely splendid food! The chef and staff are so lovely and attentive. The decor and atmosphere is truly blissful. We had the deep fried wontons and fried dim sims as entrees. The chef was so amazing, she came out and talked to us about how she hand makes all the food and tries to utilize local ingredients in her recipes. She is extremely talented. Our mains of tvp black bean and on chef’s recommendation the nugget sweet and sour. So delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Amazing food, and not too “heavy” feeling. We shared the wonton soup and the salt and pepper tofu which were both delicious. The vegan tofu that they use was a new experience and was a really good texture! Will visit Zen again during our next trip to Tasmania!

We had a fantastic meal here. The meals are delicious, generous and served by the chef who is delightful. The laksa is the best I have had in Australia. This place is worth a trip to Devonport. Everyone should go here.

Had a very delicious meal here tonight. I am not a vegetarian, but with the standard of the food here, I certainly did not miss meat. The mango and sago dessert was delicious. I will be back.

We enjoyed a lovely mother's day banquet. The ladies were so friendly and gave us mums button hole flowers.
