Yatala Pies

Hard to fault this place. Pies are excellent, although careful with the pepper steak - its more of a chilli steak - its seriously hot. Added peas and gravy is fantastic. Pick your times carefully as this place gets super busy and crowded with tricky parking and long queues.

I have been going to Yatala Pies since I was a kid and they are just wonderful. Very filling, great portion size and always delicious. The French Vanilla Slice is amazing also.

If you are a pie lover - of both sweet and savoury - this is a must visit location. It has really reached iconic status, and is a frequent pit stop location on drives from Brisbane to the Gold Coast. Savoury single pies range from $4-$7 dollars, with options of course such as adding mashed peas. My personal favourite is just their "plain" old steak pie. Their sweet pies are also worth trying, as they have really perfected their pastry making. Their apple pie with cream is amazing. Prices for a single pie are $6 and under.

Great pie. The entire experience was fantastic. I used the drivthru and it was a busy but the team came out to my car, took the order and made it quick BUT the pie was even better 😆.

Great pies Well n truly lived up to it's reputation.

I could eat here everyday!! These pies are bigger than average. Price is around $6 each. Plus you can get family pies. Yumm hot chips and gravy. Heaps of desserts to choose from. Drive thru can take around 10-15 minutes. Only enough for 2 people at a time for their toilets.. Not enough when they get busy. Would recommend trying this place out.

THE BESTEST pies, certainly in QLD,even the mushy peas are excellent. Service is excellent, prices are excellent,but be warned. This place is PACKED 7 days a week,but it's worth the small wait because the staff are excellent. Highly recommended.

Recently decided to order the Broccoli & Cauliflower triangle and was pleasantly surprised to find that they have improved! It had more filling than it did when I ordered it last (about a year ago) and seemed larger. In the past I’ve found them too small and mainly full of cheese. Great improvement....will definitely order again!
