Had a really great time here and definitely recommend if you're looking to get your toes into fine dining without the steep price point. The food quality and quantity was spectacular for all dishes. I also recommend starting with some oysters (half a dozen or a dozen) and trying out all the dishes if you are in a small group. the staff are friendly knowledgeable and will always keep you in check and make sure everything is okay. The toilet is also fantastic. Parking might be tough but it is very close to Circular Quay station and there are shops in the vicinity if you want to explore the rocks. The menu changes every 6 weeks but if you get a chance, the chocolate cake and the lamb loin is a must! I also recommend going in a group but definitely a good place for a date as well.

We were absolutely delighted to have found this wonderful restaurant in the rocks staffed by hospitality students. The food was excellent, I can highly recommend the lamb, beautifully cooked and presented and the whole experience made even better with our lovely waitress Amy. The prices are so reasonable, we were very impressed with the quality of the food and the presentation.The ambience is lovely, the restaurant was originally Rockpool by Neil Perry. Well done to all the students and their supervisors, we’ll definitely be returning to this beautiful restaurant.

Food is well prepared and also (I assume) served by students, so 100% perfect service cannot expected by the diner but it is all part of the experience for you as well as for the staff. Knowing that you are part of someone's professional food journey adds to the appreciation of each plate presented at the table.

Had a lovely dinner here. Very warm and welcoming service right from the get go. Dishes were of good quality and well presented. Wouldn't have known it's a 'training' restaurant based on the overall experience. Would definitely come back.

Great place for meeting up with friends before heading out, or just to rewind after a long day. At their price point, you are evidently paying for the views rather than the food but seafood was competitively price compared to other harbour eateries. Would highly recommend just choosing from their fresh seafood platters as cooked options were rather bland and plain.

Good service even if it was hard to understand the waitress with her face mask. In France when the staff take the order or serve your table , they always start with the ladies first and served always from behind , they will never cross the view of the client with her arms to change cutlery . Anyway they are students . The food was good, but not exceptional. It was generously served, and the price is really reasonable. The decoration is very modern, I liked the open kitchen .

Great experience. We were served by Rachael who made our night wonderful. She was very accommodating and professional. Food was delicious and oysters very fresh. My lamb was also cooked to perfection. Would recommend to a friend.

Dined here 5 years ago, the food and service were amazing. However went back tonight and was disappointed with the service and the food. We ordered canadian scallops as the entree and some of the scallops were still cold. We decided to just eat without making big fuss about it. Then came the main meal which was the snapper ,i ended up returning it to the kitchen after a few bites as it was still raw inside. 10 mins later, to my surprise the same fish that i sent back was served instead of giving me a new fish. To make the matter worse, i could tell that they stuck the whole plate in the oven to re-cook the fish including all the vegies and sauce. No restaurants would have done this . It was my first time experiencing this. I then had to ask to speak to the manager to ask for a new meal. Which she was unwillingly comply with my request for new meal.
