Thanks for bothering to call back my wife a few years back after doing a "trial waitress" shift for you for 4hours zero pay on a saturday night mind you.Reason to post late didnt realise at the time that free labour for you was not legal wished id known at the time.Good on you saved yourself a few bucks on getting free labour for the night 👍

Ok but a bit dated. Could do with a facelift. Food and service were good.

Wild Swan is so beautiful. It overlooked Mandoons beautiful grounds and vineyards. We dined here for dinner and the vineyards was just stunning in the evening. For entrees we had the scallops and marron, they were delicious. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. For mains we had the lamb and wagyu beef. Again the flavours were amazing, however my lamb was a bit too fatty. Dessert, we had the peach cloud and chocolate fondant. The peach cloud dessert is one of the best desserts I've ever had, it was so refreshing and the flavours were heavenly. The staff were attentive and knew the menu like the back of their hands. Will definitely be back.

Wow! Wow! Wow! If you want a truly amazing degustation experience this is the place to go. I caught up with a very dear friend and we had the best time here. The atmosphere was lovely. The staff were brilliant. They were all very attentive and very knowledgeable. We ordered the 7 course menu with matching wines. Every course was served with a very informative description and every wine from the Mandoon Estate was matched perfectly. It truly was a feast not only for the stomach but the eyes. Every course was presented like art work. I almost felt bad eating it! I highly recommend Wild Swan. They have an à la carte menu here aswell if degustation isn't your palate, but I do highly recommend trying the degustation menu.

Exceptional food and service. Bastian especially is one of the best waiters we have ever come across. Knowledgable, charming, attentive. The food was also first class. Will definitely be back.

Fine dining this restaurant is definitely not! I will start by saying the service was fantastic, the wait staff were attentive and polite, sadly that is where it all ends. Our table of 4 was there to celebrate my 60th and we had the degustation which was paired with the recommended wines, the food was “nice” but not one dish really had a ‘wow’ factor and as is the norm with a degustation you are given small portions of the chef’s signature dishes, but small portions here however were ridiculously small as was the accompanying wines and a shot of espresso was exactly that, the smallest coffee we’ve ever seen or had, it wasn’t even a mouthful! Now for the ambiance of the restaurant, the first thing that hits you when you enter is the noise, it is so loud we ALL had trouble hearing the waiters, they had to bow into our personal space so we could hear them over the racket, (forget the 1.5M distancing), there were cloth napkins, but no table cloths and at the end of our meal they were happy to take our order for 3 digestifs at nearly $50, but after serving the drinks, advised we had 15mins to drink them as they were closing, they then proceeded to noisily set the empty tables then started turning off all the lights around us, this was 10.45pm on a Saturday night! The final straw was no table service to pay for the meal, this had to be done at the counter at the entry! The only difference I can see from eating at the Wild Swan to eating at their Homestead Brewery, which we have many times, is the exorbitant prices charged, definitely look elsewhere if you are looking for something special. Such a shame...

5 stars are not enough! This restaurant is incredible. The lamb shoulder was the BEST I have EVER had in my life. I had no idea that blackberry and lamb could go together so well. The service was outstanding as well. Happy customer here.

Fine dining with a family? Go here. Staff are knowledgeable, attentive but non intrusive, make you feel at home and explain every dish in such a way that you get excited for it to arrive. Ambience was spectacular and whilst I was there with my baby and never felt I was disturbing the experience of other diners. I hope to revisit this place for their degustation in the coming months. Well done.
