Suggested to go here by my Son for a catch up. Greeted by the lovely Carly. Service was very good. Meals very yummy. Nice atmosphere, not too busy on a Sunday arvo.

Food was fantastic grilled chicken sweet potato broccoli and a fabulous sauce, but it took a while for it to come, but will be back

As good as the food and staff are, we've now been here twice. The first time, my mum ordered a chicken parmi - it didn't arrive for an hour and a half, and when it did arrive, the order was wrong. It took another hour before her meal arrived properly. The rest of the table had also waited two hours. Tonight it took around an hour for our food, and it arrived lukewarm. Their food is wonderful, don't get me wrong, but if you want fast service I wouldn't recommend this place.

My partner ordered the special, scotch fillet and lobster! Asked for medium rare, the steak come to us cooked blue. We advised the waiter, he took it back to the chef, then brought it back to us again, blue. We proceeded to get our money back(for the steak only, we really should of been given a full refund) I ordered the parma and margherita pizza and was just as disappointed. Chips were stale and cold, mushroom gravy tasted like flour.

Nice surroundings with good service. Others in group seemed to like their meal. I had 3 meat pizza. Would not have it again. Crust hard to cut with knives supplied and wasn't keen on the taste. As usual with the salad my wife had with her shnitzel, all lettuce and hardly any other veges.

Thought that given I was near the sea a seafood platter would be a good order. Wrong!! Frozen then fried food served up (including seafood extender!!!) as the seafood platter for $28. Not SA’s finest from the ocean. Totally disappointing.

Accomodation is lovely, location is great couple of minutes walk to the beach and to jetty road in Glenelg great area restaurant serves fantastic meals all round fantastic place to stay

So much choice and it was all very yummy. Good price too for the early bird special. I would go again.

I was really disappointed with the entire dining experience - it has seriously deteriorated with the new owners. Many of the chairs had tears in the upholstery. Fortunately I steered away from the seafood basket as soon as I saw crab sticks! Friends gave them a try - bad luck!! Deep fried to the max so the reconstituted rings and the prawn cutlets were extremely dry. Schnitzels had the same overcooked fate. When the staff was not sure what schnitzel was on the plate , she lifted it up with her hand to check. Food was just passed over the table to diners. No niceties with ll and bitters - just plonk it all in the glass together! I complained when my friend was just starting the seafood basket, not knowing that another of our party had also complained. As the dishes were cleared, the staff told us off for not complaining earlier so something could have been done - too late. Really spoilt a lovely celebration. Lovely location, so I guess the multi national owners are running it into the ground to sell off or redevelop.

Never been here before but heard many great reviews about this place. As 7th of March 2020 I came here and can't believe how busy it got in the buffet area as the hotel was busy as well. All the food was hot and delicious as well, many choices to choice from. As for example Chinese food, salads, seafood etc. The deserts were delicious especially the rocky road as it was crunchy and very sweet too. As I wanted to try the lamb shanks also chicken wings but never did but hopefully try them again soon. Thank you again for your amazing hospitality and will be back again soon.
