Nice ambiance. Reservation was smooth. Ordering from table using mobile was very good feature introduced post covid times( anyways watching the making while standing in Q will be missed)
friendly and prompt service, good social distancing so I felt comfortable. The garlic pizza was delicious. Vapiano is reasonably priced. I was pleased to sit at lower chairs, I don't really enjoy sitting up on the stools - but great to have choices. Good access to upper floor via their lift as well as the stairs.
Ordered drinks and food using the online system, it took about 40-45 minutes before we all got our food. Food looked great but my pizza had clearly been sitting somewhere for a good 10 minutes as it was lukewarm at best and the cheese was solidifying. Quite disappointed especially for the price I paid for the pizza. Won't be attending the venue again.
Great place. It’s busy but that’s part of the charm. The pasta is always good and we get to see it being made, how good is that. Really recommend if you want great food
Easy Italian dining
We had a big lunch for 4 people at this Italian restaurant a few weeks ago. We tried their delicious bruschettas, garlic bread, pizza fold, baked pasta, Nutella cheesecake... Lots of food! A special thank you to the manager and staff of the Flinders Lane store, they were so lovely and made our visit even better.
Yes almost best Italian restaurant in CBD. They starve you to death and then bring u a huge bowl with tasty pasta. There is no way you don’t like the food if u are that hungry after waiting for 1nhalf hour. We tried Chicken Alfredo and Gamberi pasta with prawns. Chicken was little dry and fusili pasta was little hard and chewy but Gamberi pasta was good ordered it with spaghetti noodles and it’s nice&smooth, prawns are juicy. Good Quality, good quantity little expensive though. Serving time should be reduced I got to say.
The food was enjoyable but the online ordering system didn't seem to be working for them. Drinks (even simple tap beer) taking 30+ minutes to come out, and about 45 minutes for pizzas. The staff were friendly when they delivered items but frequently seemed unsure about which tables food was intended for, and not much service was required given we were ordering online. The gluten free base was above average.
Every now and then as I’ve gone in for a work lunch, getting attention at the door seems to be tricky and it seems as if one has to catch the eye of staff - meanwhile we’re checking in, and introducing ourselves to a table before someone greets us. but .. but once service is at play bringing a meal or a drink, no fault there. Warm, friendly and the speed of the food coming out is never an issue. Cocktail of the week (at time of writing) here is the Pavlova Martini and my word, please leave it on the menu. It was superb!
Went there for dinner with a friend. Environment is nice, modern touches and comfy chairs. Drinks were actually quite good with speedy service. Staff were also super friendly. Those are all the two stars stand for. Unfortunately the food was terrible. Ordered penne in a mushroom and cream sauce. The pasta was raw and almost inedible. Very disappointing that the chefs could not get this right. The prices also seemed very high for what it was.
