A group of 15 people, yet to arrive, I decide to go to the bar to purchase a glass of wine. No I can’t they said, put in on your table account. But I would like to purchase a glass of wine for me, now, here, and don’t want it split it in the tables bill amongst others, causing confusion. No, she says, we are too busy. But the room is near empty. But I won’t bite, I’ll do as she says, although bewildered. At the end of our dining experience, each of the parties front up to pay our component of the bill, including my glass of wine. No, she says. One person must pay the entire bill. But we have all purchased individual items, and I’m not paying for everyone. We don’t have time to split the bill, she says. My advice, if you don’t have enough staff for a hundred tables then don’t have a hundred tables, you are squeezing the profit and makes you look cheap and tacky. Get with technology and make split bills happen. Lastly, get some bar staff! I won’t be back, there are too many other options that are not mass produced cookie cutter bistro feel available to me. So all our party agreed.

Love their high standard of servicing...very High quality in customer services..every staffs are friendly and they always walk around to ask and check on customers about dining experiences… Atmosphere is great and feel relaxed and chill with friends during visit… Portion was great and big enough...so enjoyable and fun...thank you... A busy Easter Monday but that did not deter anyone. If you want to indulge the sweet tooth in you then go to Vanilla. Staff efficient friendly and very accommodating. Food amazing. Great place to go and indulge.

What a great place to enjoy a coffee and dessert! Went to our work function which was hosted on the large outdoor balcony and LOVED it! So relaxing - it was breezy, fun and we all had a great time. The food was amazing. I enjoyed the moussaka and still find myself thinking about when I will go again to order it! Highly recommend this restaurant.

We have been taking our clients to Vanilla over a few months and have felt very welcomed by their staff. The drinks cold and hot are always on point. Thank you for being supportive of people with disabilities.

Breakfast/Brunch Review: The service and the ambience was outstanding. The place was busy when we arrived but we were well attended. The Mocha was really yum and soy cap was amazing as well (was lukewarm, could have been a bit hotter). We very much enjoyed the breakfast bruchetta but felt the Vegan breakfast option was not value for money. The menu lacked vegetarian and vegan options which could be worked on easily. Overall really good experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

On a busy day it might a take a while for your crew to get served and there is definitely a price tag that is on the higher end but MY GOD food is good!

I come here when I'm on business in Oakleigh and the service is normally reasonable. But went in today to order a chicken wrap and the girl who served me seemed decidedly uninterested in serving me and made me wait while a woman who ordered a while after me was served before me. Meanwhile she walked away leaving my takeaway on the counter and I had to ask another girl if it was mine - and had to pick it up myself. Very Poor attitude and service.
