Valentino's Family Restaurant

The kids meal was nicer than my garlic prawns which i reckon was over priced.

Food was absolutely delicious,going back for tea tomorrow night before we head home back to the main land. There was a little wait for our meals but well worth it.

My wife and I were looking for somewhere to eat dinner and this place had pretty good reviews. The pizza was right up there with the best I've eaten as was the pasta dish we shared. You can tell that a whole lot of love and care was put into the food as the flavours worked and the ingredients were very fresh. I would not be surprised if the pasta was made on site it was that nice. The staff were quite pleasant and friendly, the wait time on the food was very good and unlike a few places we ate at over our holiday actually had a nice selection of Tassie wines on hand. Pricing was also a little cheaper than you'd expect for such good food. All of the above combined with a clean colourful uncluttered dining area full of smiling patrons and you can see why we made a special effort to go there again before our holiday ended. We're looking forward to our next visit when we find ourselves in Tassie again.

Excellently presented meals, great service that was prompt. Delicious & fresh. A little higher in price than comparable big city Italian restaurants but expected being in a smaller place. A great place for family dining or a date - both of which I've had here.
