Delicious, great prices and great service! Would definitely come back

The wait time was long, but absolutely loved it. It was affordable and amazing.

We had dinner here last night and it was fantastic! There was quite a line up when we arrived but we were seated in less than 15 mins. The staff were all so friendly, happy and accommodating. The food came quick and was delicious. The serving sizes are huge. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will return when we visit Melbourne again.

the chicken pharma was huge and the prices are affordable, for pizza and pasta there are better options around the area. The staff was friendly attentive.

Not what it used to be, doesn't even come close. The pizza came with raw pastry and could see the topping, the risotto was so full of cheese couldn't see the rice. The new owners should change the name, its not universal pizza, keeping the name isn't going to keep the customers that went there before to come back. I'll never go back there again!!!

Love the down to earth atmosphere of this restaurant. Very good prices and very friendly staff. Frequented by the university crowd so it must be great value for money. It is famous for the Chicken Parma and the Chicken Schnitzel.

I used to go to Universal from the age of 18 in the early 90's. John always accomodated our pizza requests and often gave us 1 on the house, as we frequented the place a lot! Great to see its still going after all these years and place has developed into a popular spot!! Well done John and family.

Generous portions. The Chicken Parma and Chicken Schnitzel are a must try and definitely worth the price. The Milkshakes are a highlight as well! Typically, an Entrée option would be sufficient for a meal, and the Main option would be best shared in my opinion.

Hi,The food was good but hospitality was not good.we were 6 people. We had to wait outside to empty table but we were surprised because people that behind us ,were invited inside while we were outside with 2 children ,... When we ordered food they forgot to bring our order ,so We asked the reception and she said "sorry we forget" while the next tabel came after us but their food was prepared earlier than us. Thank you

Been here many times for dinner, there will always be a line so be prepared to wait. Best thing on the menu is the $14 chicken parma, it's great value and will definitely fill you up. The pasta is also very reasonably priced as you get a very large portion. A main pasta meal is good enough to share between 2 people. All the staff are attentive and friendly. Do recommend you check this place out if you haven't been.
