Uforic Food Cafe

Uforic Cafe is such a lovely, cosy place. The food is delicious (especially the vanilla slices!). The staff are friendly and welcoming. I feel very lucky to have it as my local cafe. I also love the take-home meals - the cauliflower soup is amazing.

I'm a big fan of this place, especially in the cooler months. A great little outdoor dining area, wholesome food and one of the best iced coffees on the surfcoast.

Stopped for lunch yesterday, did QR check in, was asked for Drivers licence, which had a Melbourne address, was told we won’t serve you either at a table or Takeaway, front of shop lady was not interested in our rates notice or receipts to prove that we had been at houses since before lockdown on the Belarine peninsula. Which according to the Govt. website is the correct documentation.

Turned away as drivers license had Melbourne address. Had proof of being in regional before lock down and proof of primary home being Lorne. Permanent home 4 days a week. I understand that you are protecting your business and not want a fine BUT all contrary to government website. Checked with Lorne police station prior to coming to Torquay. The manner in which we were refused entry and in front of other customers was appalling! Very disappointing.

The food was delicious, meat in the loaded croissant was so tender, the Indian bowl was flavoursome. The orange cake is to die for. This truly is a hidden gem.

It was great to get back out post lockdown. This cafe was the perfect start. Great food, very friendly staff and fantastic sitting out the back.

Just a cuppa and scone enjoyed in the relaxed outdoor area. Very nice feel.
