Was excited to come as I've heard lots about it, and we went for Easter brekkie, overall nice seating and interior, but service on the slower side. The menu looked good, we asked if we could get the Eggs Benedict's vegetarian with spinach instead of meat, and was told no problem but when bill came we were still charged for a side of greens (and it wasn't spinach but kale!!). Juice was delicious and coffee was okay. Not sure if we will be back, not convinced based on this visit

Very popular brunch and lunch place but overrated and overpriced I feel. Very noisy inside - we sat outside on a sunny day. Food looks better than it tastes. Ricotta pancakes which are Instagram-worthy are in fact quite sweet and sickly after you eat some (and I NEVER usually leave any food). Service was average and coffees were lukewarm.

Overrated. Busy and popular, we waited awhile for the waiter to take our order. We had the eggs benny and chili scrambled. Coffee and food was average. There are so many better cafes in Melbourne!

Very slow to seat you and then serve you. Here on my lunch break and been an hour and I'm still waiting to eat. Not even that busy.

It’s a great spot and has consistently good food. But the bread is evil - it’s just designed to break knives and teeth. This toasted Sourdough you can’t seem to opt out of is so rough, it gets in between your gums and it near indestructible to the point you may need to bring your own construction machinery to have at your Avo & Toast. Please, please give us some softer options - wet cement even.

Two of us came to Top Paddock Cafe on a Thursday morning for some lunch. Between the two of us, we ordered an iced chocolate, chai latte, the hotcakes and ham, cheese, tomato croissant. The food was very delicious! No wonder it's always so busy here :) Thank you so much to all the waiters, baristas, chefs and all others involved!

This place needs a shake up, or a manager that can inspire and motivate it's team. Absolutely disengaged. I was seated promptly which was great, but then zero interest in serving or in good coffee. Even the woman who was taking payments wouldn't listen to what I was trying to tell her. I literally asked "Can I tell you what I had?" After the third time of random guesses (despite already trying to offer her direction twice). Hats off to the chefs though. Food was nice.

Top Paddock was one of the first cafes I had visited back in 2015. I went back this weekend and it never fails to amaze. The food was fantastic and the vibes were awesome. I would definitely go back again. Also the people there are so kind and friendly :)
