Three Anchors

Very pleasant. Perhaps a tad cool inside but the staff friendly and food good.

This place has improved in the two years since I was last here, as they have installed QR codes on all the tables so you order and pay yourself (this eliminates what was, last time, rather poor service, but it is all rather a bit impersonal and bare-bones, without any adjustment in price.) The view was nice, in spite of the council works in the adjoining car park. The food was fine, although the gluten free bread was more like cake.

The overall vibe and feeling the business has captured, especially given its location is good, the servers were nice. I ordered the fish and chips with a side if salad and the thing that let this whole dish down was the fish, the amount of excess salt had me getting a glass of water in between bites and took away from the flavour of the fish, affecting other components of the meal negatively

Worth a visit, tried the vegan satay Gnocchi (sounded interesting) didn't disappoint. Early grey Martini was top notch. Staff helpful and friendly. We will be back 👍

Had the steak sandwich. It was great. My chips came out cold. But awesome steak sandwich.

Incredible menu, but not cooked well unfortunately. First two meals were sent back to the kitchen, one being the Wagyu burger with an almost completely raw beef patty. Very average.

Can't believe they are no longer using full cream milk for coffees or hot chocolate. I rang management wanting to know the reason they stopped and was told it's so they don't have to swap milks, even though they have a range of other milk choices. I hate the taste of coffee with skim milk so will no longer be going there.

Three Anchors was a great dining experience. The steak sandwich was very tasty and my partners food was also of a high standard. It is a nice venue in an amazing location. The staff were professional and friendly. The option to use a table QR code to order allowed for fast service. It was quite busy so make sure to ring and book ahead.

Friendly staff and mostly good food. Would give the steak a miss as it was quite over salted or possibly ask for the steak to not be salted at all. Bit disappointed considering the meal is $42. Kids meals were excellent value though(had 3 different ones) and other half had the marron pie with truffle which was really good
