Third Wave Cafe

Highly recommended! I have been to this Cafe many times and each time was fantastic. delicious food, friendly staff, fantastic range of food with high quality.

We went at night time on the recommendation of a friend as they know I love beef ribs. The restaurant is a 30min tram ride away from Melbourne cbd. The wait staff are very friendly and gave meaningful advice regarding the food when asked; were extremely accommodating regarding changes in menu items (we wanted loaded fries with vegan topping but real cheese); and very receptive to constructive feedback at the end of the meal. There is no mistake that the food is not healthy and no one would go to such an establishment with health in mind. But for those of us who are wanting to merely dip our feet into the world of metabolic disease rather than go the whole hog, we were hoping for some middle ground. We ordered a large salad to get something green but unfortunately it was drenched in dressing. We would have loved a bowl of green vegetables or mixed seasonal vegetables. It would have made all the difference to have something fresh to balance with the heaviness of the meat. I’ve gotta say, the beef ribs were amazing! I hate smoky meat and these weren’t smoky at all so that was a pleasant surprise. The chips with cheese were amazing and the vegan topping was also very good! Would love to bring my friends along. I want to try the orange chocolate milk.

Absolute monsters of a meal ( partner and his friend both had the triple stack). Both struggled to finish since it was actually wo much food. It tasted amazing. My breakfast portion was smaller (thankfully) but extremely tasty. They also had coffees and I had a Vietnamese coffee shake (delicious). Definitely want to go back to try more foods from the menu (especially the deep dish pizza meal)

After seeing amazing videos of scrumptious food posted by the company on Facebook I thought I had to go try it for myself. It did not disappointment. Amazing food, fast service, friendly customer service. All in all I will be back in to enjoy some great food and beverages.

Dinosaur ribs!!! 🦕 Fantastic. The sides even better. Does suit 4 ppl. Added some chicken wings. 👌 would come back.

Disclaimer: did go during lockdown. Only got burgers on a 2 for 1 deal and there wasn't anything amazing about it just pretty average. The staff were extrely nice though.

Such amazing food that they serve. Worth the price and experience. Make sure you don’t wear tight clothes for this restaurant🤣 everything was just WOW🤩

You will not find meat of any type cooked as good as these peeps can do it. Third wave cafe is by far one of my favourite places to eat. The monthly specials never fail to impress they are always a work of art. You will never leave this place feeling hungry !!! You will not be disappointed!!! 👍👍👍

The food at this restaurant is very true to the American culture. It is served in large portions and has a smoky taste. it also leaves a Magnificent taste in your mouth. Over all I would recommend this restaurant to all who would love to have a great night out with a couple of mates enjoy the amazing vibes.

Its just fantastic. You could almost call it "novelty food", meant with the greatest of respect. The portions are huge. Its all delicous. Its hilarious to watch peoples faces as the food hits the table Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.
