We arrived 5 minutes after the kitchen had closed on a Sunday evening. They kindly reopened the kitchen just for us. The staff were so helpful and only happy to stay beyond close to ensure we got what we came there for... The Chowder. It was divine! I was so full and content, I could've spread myself over a few chairs lined next to each other and succumbed to a food comer. Will definitely do a repeat visit.

Twice a year my partner and I come down for the car events held at the wiggley reserve and so we go along and get a nice lunch at different places while we are down. Tried this place and I can not recommended this place enough. The waiter (Dave) if that was his name was very polite 10/10 and the food again 10/10 I got the king George whiting which was perfect from the salad dressing to the seafood itself.

The food was really good, the service on the other hand was the opposite. We waited 1.5hrs for our main and we were completely forgotten about for dessert and drinks at the end when we asked for them. Already spending a few hundred $$ makes it a bit dissapointing. Even the people next to us were making jokes with us about how we were totally forgotten about. If you have the time to wait and don't mind chasing them up its well worth the wait, we did have a great table on the pier front.

The food was amazing and the location is a must but there is no customer service. First, one of the staff was totally lost and took orders incorrectly. Second, the staff team is so rude and seemed to have no patience to attend my table, of course, there was few exception, but I felt that they have short staff and cannot handle the demand to have a good customer service.

Fantastic experience from friendly professional staff to tasty well priced food and wine. We will be back soon. 😀
