The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill Belmont

Good casual bar and grill. The service was great and attentive. The daily specials are good. Half price pints! We ordered wings, ribs and salad. The wings were really good. The ribs were undercooked which is not great and the salads were ok. Minus one for the ribs and a half for the salads. Would try again for sure though.

Excellent service, coffee and cakes were served to us within 5 minutes and the place was nearly full. Too noisy inside so sat outside because the friend we were meeting has a hearing problem. So many cement mixers, buses, noisy cars right next to us was very annoying. Ordered cappuccino and it looked like a flat white with chocolate sprinkled on top. The coffee was awesome not bitter, just a great coffee and went well with the carrot loaf cake that was delicious. My husband had the Mars bar cake and loved it. Our friend ordered a hot, flat white and was very pleased with it.

Burgers were average. Bun and salad was nice but meat seemed plain and too blackened. Large buffalo bites portion size was quite small but taste amazing. Service was below average. One person on the bar and table service drinks sat on the bar for ages. No extra napkins available at the table, have to ask for them. Had to ask for the kids meal drinks, if I didn't ask they were not coming. Kids meal dessert arrived but then had to call over waitress for spoons one we realised. It's the little things.

Come here Monday nights for the ribs & wing specials with my partner and the food is always a 10/10. We love it. Please keep the mozzarella sticks on the menu! Thanks guys :)

Booked the courtyard for a event, the staff were amazing, it was well organized and setup. The food was abundant and delicious! Great value for money, highly recommend.

Came here with a friend, both ordered meals. Quite substantial and Good value for money. Fast service. Only one problem and that was I ordered the buffalo Parma. I didn't read on the menu that it was spicy. All in all its a good excuse to go back for the original. Well cooked and delicious.

Had a great albeit brief experience here this afternoon. Friendly staff and Kieran makes a mean coffee and great customer service. Will be going back. I like how the booths have a touch screen too. The baby change table is currently broken though for all the mums :)

Great food and they served best side salad I have ever seen!

I walked into the Sporting Globe Blemont recently at about 6pm. I asked to be seated and was directed to a table booth near the entrance. I knew exactly what I wanted, but was not served. Two other tables who arrived after me were served in the time I was there, but I was not, so I walked out after mentioning that I was leaving to the bartender. I would be more empathetic if the was a jam packed restaurant, but most tables were vacant. On top of this, I counted four or five staff who could have easily taken my order. I've been there a few times before and the food and service has been pretty good, so maybe I just caught them on a bad day. At the same time, I sent them an email with my feedback about the event and didn't recieve a reply.

Squid or calamari as now known was on rations. The grass clippings were abundant with tasty dressing but the avocado had avocadoed. Very pleasant helpful waitress. Four stars for the price and service okay for grub.
