116-120 Liverpool St Shop 3 2000, Sydney
Wanted to try this but couldn’t so far. Menu looks good.must be great with a group of people.
Busy shop, portion size is moderate considering the price but enough to fill one up. Beer and Korean soju available in shop and match made in heaven with the Korean fried chicken. Good for quick snack or meal.
We ordered the spiciest fried chicken but were disappointed (not much spicy). My friends told me these fried chicken are supposed to be very hot n spicy. But keeping the expectations of hotness aside, quality was good. Make sure you book your table before you walk in, otherwise be ready to wait for a while.
ordered a lunchbox. The choices offered are spicy pork/veg/squid/beef. i ordered the one with pork. When the order came, it looked absolutely delightful. As you can tell by the picture, the portion was really big. Everything was good. They were generous with the side salad. Service was nice. Definitely recommend the lunch box available there.
We enjoyed our lunch there, fried chicken was tasty and spicy. At first we thought portion was small but we were completely satisfied after eating it all.
The dipping sauces for the fried chicken weren't available..
After eating at all the Korean spots on the block, I can honestly say that if its Korean fried chicken you desire, this is the spot. Being as it's also the most affordable, there may be a wait as the cheaper price attracts students and young groups of friends. My personal favorite is the fried chicken strips with American mustard. The salads use bottled dressings, so just expect that if you order it. My only gripe with the place is the service. Sometimes there will be lines outside with several empty, dirty tables inside that none of the numerous staff standing around bothering to clear the tables. When I approached a manager about it once several years ago he was rude, however, when he saw me photographing the tables all of a sudden he became friendly and the staff started quickly clearing the tables. Guess they were scared of being reported to head office, lol. If you pay cash, they offer discounts.
I ordered Sweet & spicy fried chicken for take away. Look How dry inside, not juicy, feels like eating sweet cardboard, worst korean fried chicken ever. It is suspected that this is leftover by others, and they re-fry it. Incredible Dry chicken, please do not spend $30 on this levels of food.
The Korean chicken with snowy cheese and garlic, seafood pancakes ttekpoki is yum and chewy. I enjoy all the food I ordered.
One of the best Korean chicken places I have had in Sydney, absolutely delicious flavoring. Only downside is I feel the tables are far too small
