Nice and tidy, well presented, great coffee

Weak coffee not too good (latte in a mug). Schnitzel burger was great. Relaxed atmosphere.

After a neat renovation opening the entry and making it more airy, the Roses still serves excellent food and provides great service!

Breakfast here is really good. The food and staff are great. If I could change anything, I'd get rid of the elevator music and I'd change the ordering system. You stand there and you never know who is being served or who is going to be next. People walk right up and get served while you've been waiting for a while.

The best service of anywhere I've been lately. Welcome you at the door and farewell you when you leave. Beautiful.

had heard a lot about this cafe and so stopped by for lunch with family and friends. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the ordering process was handled quite professionally. Coffee was ok like most cafes - nothing too different. Food was disappointing to say the least. Here is a list of issues: Sour Dough Glaze: poached eggs were clearly made much in advance - they just reheated before serving. And the hours of leaving it suspended in warm water had made the eggs too tough from the outside. Baby spinach was not buttered or tossed, it was just placed underneath the eggs. This would’ve been ok had the eggs been cooked fresh. Corn fritters: too floury and again, clearly made hours ahead of service time. Bottom line is this cafe is very popular but the kitchen staff is cutting corners. If you pay $19 for 2 eggs, some spinach and 2 slices of sour dough bread, it’s only fair to expect quality. But sadly, The Roses Cafe falls well short of expectations.
