The Richmond Bakery

You can not separate this cafe from beautiful old place Richmond. Especially in the spring- it makes my heart sing- beautiful dressed in pink ,hawthorn alleys . And, of course, bakery. We visit it every time when coming to Richmond. Nice tasty pies, big family pies. Honest sweets, ah- many other interesting yummiers... And not expensive but good traditional cakes people can take home! And lady, who made our nice coffee, with the nice name Simone... Olga Rosenzweig

Indoor and patio eat-in options, sometimes with live music! Last visit (1:30pm) only had steak pies left which was disappointing but still enjoyable - only suggestion would be *please* upgrade your flimsy plastic cutlery!!

Have to say the most fresh Vanilla slice. Perfect amount of everything and a slight hint of chocolate drizzled over the top...must try..service was also friendly and welcoming

Hot food was hot and very nice, they have a good variety of toasted sandwiches, sandwiches, pies, sausage rolls, drinks, and for anyone with a sweet tooth there was a good selection of cakes and tarts etc. Staff were pleasant and easy to deal with, good job!. Event the cooked meal was delivered in a short time. 😀

Raspberry tart was delicious, BUT, coffee was terrible! Lukewarm and barely any coffee taste at all, all I could taste was milk. Perhaps they should tell the girl that she needs to put MORE coffee in a large than in a small!

Great food and very nice team.

Stopped in for lunch and it was jam packed inside and out and a coach tour group was rolling up as well. Wife and I went for a walk and came back about 30min later. I ordered a peppered steak pie - best I’ve ever had - and my wife ordered a curried chicken pie. She had to wait for the next batch (~5min) as they’d sold out of the previous batch and it was well worth the wait. Reasonably priced, great food, and quick service. The only thing they need to improve is their queuing system when they get busy.
