Great atmosphere, music, food and cocktails fantastic, staff super friendly. Best place I’ve been to in a long time

Great ambiance and awesome live music with the piano on a Friday night

It was a 20 minute wait for a chicken salad and fish and chips when there was hardly anyone in the bar. The chicken was also dry and not so tender. I also found a sharp piece of plastic on the top of my lemon slice. Is someone trying to kill me? Chose not to say anything about it in case I had to wait for another half hour for a food turn around.

Attended a private function here.. Great atmosphere, history and fantastic service!

Spent a brief while here for a cocktail. Nice place. We could sneak in a table without reservation. The crowd was across ages and the place had a friendly vibe

Spent a nice 2+ hours here with another couple. A few drinks, one shot, some entrée and all was good. Then getting ready to leave, and I came back from the bathroom and 20 sec standing at the table COVID beard comes up and mumbles something. I asked him to repeat and he said if I’m standing I need to leave. I said I just got back from the toilet and we are leaving. He said it’s going to cost him $5000, I said no, not you personally, the venue! He cries, no but I Will lose my license. I said again it’s been 1min mate, Seriously we are about to leave. He again said it’s a $5000 fine and again I said relax, we are about to leave it’s ok. We then left with him and his non beard backup mate coming outside and deciding to make a start arse comment while we left. Really unprofessional and we won’t be coming back to this venue. Such a shame.
