Happy hour for oysters and beer! No wonder this place gets packed out! Timer on cash register though and different place to order food from drinks. So if you are trying to get through the crowd for both orders and stand in both queues for 10-15 mins and can't get your order in before the clock strikes end of happy hour at the bar because staff decide they have to polish glasses for 3-mins instead of serving you then you pay full price.
Great oysters. Good beer selection. Beer could have been a bit colder
A great outlook on the South side of Dolphin Quays. Their menu has changed recently, providing a slightly wider selection of meal options. However, as it has a small bar licence you don't have to order a meal to enjoy your stop there
Service was terrible, they forgot our food and we waited over 1.5hours. What food did come out was cold. Oysters were over cooked and sour. Had to cancel our remaining order as we had already been there for over 2 hours. Offered us “roadies” to compensate.

First time went there as we got taken there by friends for dinner last night, we ordered the 2x fish (flounder) n chips 1x grazing platter we were advised there would be 40min wait which we were OK with. But when the food came out we were extremely disappointed - 1x fish n chips came the other didnt it went to another table, so our friend ate his whilst we waited for ours.. mind you the meal we thought would take up the plate (being a flounder) but it was small and they were fish fillets. Eventually the second fish n chips arrived, and about 30mins later we still hadnt received our grazing platter so followed it up and they said 'oh were you waiting on the fish n chips? we said no we already received the 2x fish n chips we are just waiting on the grazing platter.' Okay so that arrived they said they put a few extras on there which was good thankyou, they were supposed to come back with cutlery but she got distracted with serving drinks at the bar in the middle of a cocktail drink (poor person got 1 drink and mid way waited for his second drink to be poured, she then gave us cutlery over the counter) I looked at the menu on the board to see what was on the grazing platter and they were missing arancini's and the x2 sliders which they also recognised wasnt on there, so they said they would get that sorted. Another 15mins+ went by we still hadnt received the missing items we were on the edge of just giving up so thought I would just follow up, they had not even started on them they'd forgotten so eventually the sliders came out but no arancini's, by then we literally had enough following up but i thought no we should just let them know, eventually they came out they gave out extras for each of us at the table to make up for it which was nice thankyou, but as soon as we cut into them they were still frozen inside. So we didnt eat them and we were done. I am writing this because we wouldnt want anyone to go through this similar experience. We understood that they were under the pump to a certain degree which we didnt get angry with them or anything we were very understanding we just think that the staff did the best they could but they just need to finish a task all the way through rather than trying to multitask everything and mid way through a task and forget things as they are too distracted. Yes drinks are important for customers but food sitting under the heat lamps for at least 10mins+ with no bell to advise that food is ready to be taken out. I used to work in hospitality for over 8 years and this is just constructive criticism and hopefully will be taken into consideration in ways of improvement. Oh at the by way, a friend had been to the male restrooms and the standards had slipped, very unhygienic especially during these times.

Been here about 6 times now,best oysters Kirkpatrick, cold beer,service with a smile. Really enjoy it.
