13 Gilbert Pl 5000, Adelaide
Good position to access by foot. No parking available. Large menu selection. Nice staff. Bit pricey for food, just a FYI for families. Amenities available. Disability and pram friendly.....
Joshua, the gentleman working the early morning shift is amazing! We often stop in for breakfast after work and he is so good at what he does! We appreciate you Joshua!!!
I actually do noy have issue with the food. is the service am really disappointed with especially during covid times. There was no covid check in at the entrance when I entered the restaurant. So my partner and I assumed we signed in inside and while waiting we will grab a menu and asked if we could sit down as there was quite a queue and we thought they are just getting their order. The staff taking orders at the counter saw my partner grabbing the menu at the front and questioned if we signed in and he tried to explain he was only grabbing the menu. it is absoutely frustrating for us since we knew we had to check in but there was a crowd at the front thus blocking the way already and service is so terrible !
absolutely tasty... Will forever be my number one go to meal. love how everything is cooked to perfection ❤🥰💯💯💯
As a kid growing up in the 70s, the pancake parlour was always a treat. Now 40 years later and 40 years older that magical touch is missing. Maybe it's a sign of the times or a faded memory but it is missing something.
Came in today for the first time with my partner and we really had such a great time. Their newest waiter Josh started today and he did his best to make us feel like we were at home. He had a smile on all day and such a great personality to go a long with it. I definitely recommend this place as a any type of occasion restaurant. We will definitely be coming back for more of the great food and excellent customer service! Hope you had a good first day Josh and thanks for making our experience worth it!😊
My boyfriend used to go to the Original Pancake Kitchen when he was at Uni. That's why it was one of the first places he took me in Adelaide. He was amazed how well they preserved the venue for last 10 years. Nothing much changed, the same design, the same 24 hours open hours, the same delicious food. We ordered original pancakes with butter and maple syrup along with a big breakfast. We were completely full after we had a half of the portion but it was so good that we couldn't resist to finish everything on the place. We enjoyed the experience and will definitely go there next time when we visit Adelaide.
Pancakes are huge but delicious. Two pancakes could easily be shared. They were yummy 😋
Pancake Kitchen has never failed me. Always excellent pancakes, struggle not to just get the blueberry every time. Cottage potatoes are a delicious side, and the banana split was really nice too!
Messed up the order twice sadly didn't get what we asked for. A little disappointing as ive eaten there before and couldn't fault them, sad it went down hill
