Wouldn’t let us in unless we have a booking. Last time I checked the venue doesn’t allow ‘bookings’. Friends were inside with two tables reserved. They wouldn’t let us come in. This place sucks. The Shannon Noll bar around the corner is way better. Peace.

Good place to catch up with friends and have a conversation. The food arrived pretty quickly and it was good portion. Food was average. Loved the sides - roast potatoes and the greens. Also, loved the cocktail - Hakuna ma tata.

Couldn't book a table as the policy says you have to have more than 10 people, we were a party of 6 and we only just found a table outside in the cold. The bar tender spilt three cocktails on my husband and we got no apology, lastly the steaks were over done. Other than that it was nice.

Friendly service, large portions but only average quality food and decor (looking a bit tired).

Fantastic tasty lunch at the Merrywell before the Pricilla of the Desert musical (awesome show). I was pleasantly surprise how swiftly our meal arrived. Not one of my friends could fault the food, it was all delish. Service was great, bit of a hit and miss of friendliness with staff depending on who was serving, bar staff need to chill a bit and think about if they are working in hospitality you will be interacting obviously with the public. If you are not a people person find another career.

We had a group booking for 12 people. Food arrived quickly and all dishes were there within a few minutes of each other. Good portion sizes and cooked well. Nice presentation. The staff were responsive and ordering drinks was a quick process. Venue capacity was also well managed by the door staff.

Not a bad place to eat. Service great, food great and huge portions. It gets busy so get there early.

Really good food! And good service! The Angus steak is a bit spicy but very worth it.

I enjoyed the Fish Tacos & a yummy Kraken cocktail! We were there before a show and it was packed to the rafters!
