Nice spacious environment with lots of natural lighting. Great variety of seating options, both inside and out. Interesting menu.

Exceptional dining experience! The Restaurant is our favourite and if you get Chris waiting on your table, you have the best ! The bistro has a great vibe but does get noisy on weekends, however food still wonderful. Definitely one of Adelaides finest!

Lovely meals served in a timely manner by friendly staff. The smoke from the nearby outdoor area was not very pleasant during our meal, otherwise it was a nice evening. Hopefully they can seal the doors properly in the future.

The service was fantastic. We all had steak and they were all cooked perfectly! Definitely will be back. Prices were good too.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Wonderful to be able to enjoy a brunch/lunch/coffee on the terrace after a walk with our beloved dog. So few places are kind enough to welcome dogs on outdoor premises.

Having eaten here over many years, I was disappointed with my meal this evening. The fish batter was overcooked and somewhat greasy. Apart from the battered fish and chips, a small piece of Cos lettuce accompanied the meal. I had assumed that the hotel renovations would have improved the acoustics with better noise reduction. However, this does not seem to be the case. The staff were friendly and performed their duties quite well. My disappointment with the meal was probably a one off, but I am somewhat ambivalent from visiting until the noise levels are improved. Frances

We shared a romantic meal at the Lion Hotel. The staff were attentive, the wine delicious and the food... buona!! Delicious fine dining. We highly enjoyed our experience at the Lion Hotel.
