What a great new place for those in the inner north and beyond to enjoy. The fit is fabulous, the food was excellent and the service matched both of these. Thanks for a great lunch.
Best experience I've ever had eating out in Canberra. The staff bent over backwards to look after us, even though we were a rowdy bachelorette party. They even set us up in a separate room without any dramas and allowed me to come in early to set up decorations and helped make the room look amazing. The bride to be had the best time thanks to their help. The food was delicious and there was so much of it! Feed me menu is the way to go and I even enjoyed he steak tartare! Can't remember the last time I've gone home with a full belly from a Canberra restaurant. Service was exceptional and staff were attentive to our every need including dietary requirements, keeping our glasses full at all times and even the temperature of the aircon. Thank you Edgars we'll all be back!
This is a great, new informal (but more formal than the pub below) eating space in Ainslie. It’s taking a little time to settle in, evidenced by both service, menu and cooking — all of which are good, and will soon be great, I hope. I love the wood-fired concept — the wood roasted vegetables, in particular, excel. The meats — especially the steaks, just need a little more than the mild “diane” sauce currently offered, so I’m hoping the chef will try a chimichurri, as that style of sauce REALLY suits this kind of beef cooking. The wine-by-the-glass section on the wine list is a little thin — I’d love to at least a couple of Australian shiraz or cabernets — not to mention some of the Canberra region’s cool climate reds and whites. I look forward to visiting again, soon!
From the impeccable service to the delicious food, we had such a great night! The chefs and bar staff know their stuff, and with the cosy environment, we highly recommend! Thanks guys!
