The Inn

An unpleasant experience. A bartender who had initially took our order and served us was a pleasant, polite chap who tried very hard, which I appreciated. However, I found a piece of plastic in my oysters and waved another waiter down (he was well dressed in a suit, I assume him to be the manager that evening?) to inform him of my encounter. He wasn't the most helpful when he told me that he didn't know where the plastic had come from and wanted to leave the rest of the uneaten oysters on the table. I proceeded to ask him to replace the oysters with fresh ones but was deeply disappointed that I even had to ask.

I recently had a party at the Wakefield room, it was a great cosy venue. Lauren from the venue was excellent to deal with leading up to the event. I brought music and cake and balloons and the Inn provided the rest. Really nice facilities - private space with bar, bathrooms and lot of areas to hang out.

The Inn has a cosy vibe and intimate feel, tucked away upstairs. Fabulous wine menu and delicious desserts. All staff were friendly and went above and beyond to provide the best service to their customers. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner for two, or a celebration with a group of friends.

We had a fabulous time at The Inn for my partner's 30th Birthday party. Mel, Tony, Adam and Lauren are so accomodating and made the dinner extra special for us and our guests. The food is consistently impressive and we couldn't have imagined a better evening. Thank you all so much!!

Had my birthday in the Wakefield Room last weekend. Great space, great canapés and fantastic drinks. We couldn’t have been happier. The best part by far were the staff - friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend for a private function.

Fantastic service & delicious cocktails! My favourite spot is sitting on The Terrace on a Friday afternoon with those views.. Great space.

My partner and I dined in on a Friday night and the atmosphere and service was great. The communication during our booking was very efficient and professional. The food was phenomenal, eye fillet was quality (best steak in Canberra) and the chicken with sambal and papaya salad was cooked to perfection! We will highly recommend to friends and family and we will definitely be back.
